MHD Summer 2015 Dance Camps
Princess Camp
Embrace their inner Princess with a week of summer time fun! Each day is full of Princess themed dancing,
creative crafts, and dress up! Ballet shoes and dancewear is required. We will have an in-studio performance for
family and friends on Friday.

Super Hero/Dance/Acro Camp
Super hero training starts here with basic tumbling and creative movement combined with arts and crafts
culminating in an in class demonstration for parents on the final day of camp.

Ballet History and Terminology
This camp will cover the origins of ballet, the different movements of ballet throughout history, ballet
terminology, influential choreographers/companies leading up to the world of ballet today. Students will learn
ballet history, terminology, and positions, with focus on Ceccehetti, Vaganova, and French schools. Highly
recommended for company members!

Broadway Sassy Jazz
During this camp, each dancer will learn a little piece of Broadway incorporating acting, singing and dancing.
At the end of the week, each dancer will have the opportunity to experience a live audition while showing off all
the elements that they learned during the course of the week.

Flexibility, Leaps and Turns Intensive
Want to finally get that switch leap perfected or work on those elusive fouette turns? Want to work on your
flexibility? Then get ready for a fun week of hard work!

Make Your Own Music Video Camp
Have you ever wanted to be a music video star? Do you sing and dance along with your favorite music video stars?
Then this is the camp for you! Students will learn routines, design outfits, and we will have an in-studio
performance for family and friends on Friday!
