Accro Brandon has been performing since 2010 and pole
dancing professionally since 2012. He tours full time
teaching Acro Yoga and pole dancing workshops when
he is not doing performances and competitions. He trains
predominately at Body and Pole, NY and/or The
Choreography House and Vertitude when on the west
coast. He is also a level 2 certified Acro Yoga Montreal
teacher and has recently joined the Liquid Motion family
which is a movement methodology based on basic dance
theory and sensual movement exploration.
His main focus when teaching Acro, besides the
fundamentals, is teaching people how to move
independently so that when they come together for
partner work they are more cohesive exuding a style
that is more performance based acro that is not
confined just to one specific area of space. Sharing his
ever expanding knowledge of dance and movement
based ideas he truly enjoys sharing, inspiring and
helping others grow in what ever direction they choose.

LIQUID MOTION
Liquid 2 Doubles workshop
This is a three hour open level workshop that explores everything Liquid
Motion, but with the added element of acro dance. We will be exploring
sensual movement, not just on the floor but also in the air.
This workshop will dive into more difficult concepts of partner work
movement and creating flows and shapes, all while focusing on the ideas of
Liquid Motion, human connection, and now the added element of trust
through acro dance. Get ready to roll, swing, fly, and possibly pole, as we
take the world of doubles movement to a whole new level.
What you will learn:
Student will learn detailed floor flows on their own and then with the added
element of body manipulation with a partner. These exercises and flows are
specifically designed to create a sense of connection between two
unfamiliar bodies. As the workshop progresses so will each flow, and in the
end students will be given ample time to create their own partner flow and
present it to the class.
You the student are going to learn how to interact with another person
based on
Influences from Liquid motion, contemporary movement and acro Dance.
You will leave this workshop with the tool to successfully explore partner
work on your own.

Acro Yoga Fundamentals
This class is meant for levels from intro to beg/int.
NO PARTNER NECESSARY (you will be put into groups)
This will teach fundamentals of flying, basing and spotting. The four
standard flying postures (bird, folded leaf, whale, back flying) are
addressed and turned into flows and sequences. There is something for
everyone at every level and playing, connecting and building trust to push
further and fly higher are core reasons to come out and play. So lets get
upside down!
You dont have to be interested in pole dance/fitness to be able to do acro
yoga! So bring a friend, BF, GF, significant other, mom, dad or anyone who wants
to learn partner yoga. Its a fun way to strengthen bonds, build new relationships
and trust with others, and overall just feels so damn awesome and cool to do!

Acro Yoga - Next Level
This class is meant for the to beg/int student and beyond and should be exploring
inversions and twists, star, side star and able to base and fly for extended
periods.
Got the basics down, getting comfortable and exploring new acro offerings? In
this class we’re going to start with a solid warm up of yoga and gymnastic based
exercises. Handstand work, core work, flying and basing calibrations and
perhaps even some floor movement to get the body going. Then we will play with
various combos and transitions that are inspiring at the moment in the world of
acro and try to put our own personal touch on it. Come out and maybe even get
“creative, Montreal style” and display some new moves!

Acro Yoga Montreal style - “Movement through Acro”
This class is meant for the to beg/int student and beyond, understand the
FUNDAMENTALS of acro (bird, leaf, whale and back flying), and starting to
explore inversions, star, side star and able to base and fly for extended periods.
This is a three hour workshop that explores Acro Yoga Montreal (a movement
based Acro) with added elements of Movement and Fluidity. This workshop takes
a look into the more advanced elements of Acro partner work with creative
interpretation of movement through each acro sequence. The ideas of traditional
acro as we know it are left behind. There is no base or flyer. All participants are
equal, creating a level playing field for learning and experimentation. The idea in
this workshop is for both parties to create something together. There are no
rules, there are no boundaries. The students are given examples of creative
intermediate acro flows to help them see the possibilities. In this workshops
student should already have an acro vocabulary, and this will enable them to
focus on more movement exploration through these sequences. The goal is for
the students to understand how to incorporate their own ideas and education to
their acro so that they can create their own style.
Its time to think outside of the “mat”. Lets take a moment to put all the pops,
twists and washing machines on the back burner and indulge in exploration and
experimentation in movement in-between the moves not just the next shiny
flashy move.

Power Flow - Unlock Beast Mode
(90min class typically)
In this intermediate class students should have the ability to climb the pole
multiple times, ability to invert is not necessary although would be helpful.
Lets jump, dive, swing and flip! After a solid warm up based on gymnastic
exercises, acro floor and basic yoga we will start with strength and conditioning
drills and exercises sure to get the blood pumping and the grip strength going.
Learning to harness momentum during movements we will work on a variety of
leaps on and off the pole, casting swings to various transitions and just an over
all flippin’ good time. There’s something for everyone so lets get inverted!
