As a businessman in the
pre-owned segment of the
car business, Ridgeland Autoworld owner Marc Koenigsberger insists on two things:
the sound quality of his vehicles and his customers’ satisfaction.
As a result, he says, his
Ridgeland dealership continues to experience strong repeat and referral business.
He’s also proud of his Better Business Bureau A+ rating
and Cars.com’s positive 5-Star
ratings on its “Review Your
Dealer” link, reflecting close
to 100 positive reviews, well
above others rated.
And, as a CARFAX Advantage dealership, his customers
are informed with free comprehensive history reports on
every vehicle.

is “setting us apart from everybody else,” Koenigsberger
said, stressing that his main

He’s grown his 14-year-old
business by stocking premium
vehicles at significant savings
in a wide range of brands, with
a focus on imports, resulting
in 8,000-plus sales.

Growing up around his father’s and uncles’ new-car
dealerships in Northern California, he developed an early
love for cars, particularly the
coolest pre-owned models. His
own young sons, twins Zachary and Cole, 8, and Bobby, 6,
show signs of inheriting their
dad’s interest.
Koenigsberger, a Mississippian for almost 20 years, also
gained expertise by past work
at a metro-area new-car dealer group and Mid-South Auto
Auction.
He prefers the pre-owned
end of the business, seeking
out premium vehicles, including those specifically sought
by his customers.
He stocks his Ridgewood
Rd. lot with an extensive inventory of mostly one-owner
cars, trucks and SUVs, from
economical to luxury, in the
most sought-after imports and
domestics.
“We’re always looking for
the nicest cars, from California to Florida.”
Koenigsberger recognizes
the negative stigma frequently associated with used-car
dealerships, but he and his
staff work to dispel that perception.
One way is through “no-hassle pricing” with the final price
posted -- a policy designed
to lessen the typical shopper
stress. Koenigsberger and his
staff base price on their own
comprehensive evaluations.
As a family-owned and -operated business and with the

The service shop not only
conditions its own vehicles,
but performs detail work
for the general public. Fullservice exterior and interior
