After retiring in 2007, the Agency is honouring Gary’s contribution and dedication to children and families in Dufferin County on an annual basis with this award. Individuals will be judged by their contribution in one or more of these areas: • The individual has improved the health, wellness and security of children and families in Dufferin County by giving of their personal time and skills to improve the quality of life for these groups. There is evidence that the individual has dedicated a substantial portion of time to help others. • The individual has applied innovation, creativity, cooperation and hard work to advance, develop, expand or create programs and/or supports to enhance services for children and families in Dufferin County. • The individual has raised community awareness of a social cause focusing on issues of concern for children and families in Dufferin County. • The individual has formed sucessful community partnerships within Dufferin County and has demon strated an ability to effectively involve other organizations and individuals to enhance services for children and families in our community.
