Dear Friends of Daly City PAL,
We are reaching out to you for support in our mission to provide athletic and
educational opportunities to the underserved youth in our community.
The Daly City Police Athletic League is a committed all-volunteer board
consisting of Daly City Police Officers and members of our community. We are
a truly non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1957. Our mission is to
build a partnership between our youth, the police, and the community through
recreational, athletic and educational programs designed to encourage our youth to
develop good citizenship and leadership, reduce the incidence of juvenile delinquency,
and improve the quality of life as our young people grow up to become successful and
contributing members of the community.
Each year, through independent fundraising and with the support of our generous
community partners, the Daly City Police Athletic League helps off-set the costs
to families so hundreds of boys and girls have the opportunity to participate in
sports camps, organized leagues, and our Police Explorer Program. In addition,
the Daly City Police Athletic League has an educational component called the
Daly City Police Athletic League Educational Scholarship Foundation referred to
as PAL-Ed. Through PAL-Ed, up to two $1,000.00 educational college scholarships
are awarded annually to two youth recipients to assist them with their college education.
To ensure that these programs remain available and affordable to all of our
young people, we need your help. We invite you and your business to join us in
providing these programs to our kids by making a donation. You can either mail
a check to our address below or log onto our website (www.dcpal.org) and make
your donation there.
Your donation may be tax deductible (Tax ID Number 94-6102786). The Daly
City Police Athletic League would like to thank you in advance for supporting us
in our mission to provide athletic and educational opportunities to the
