The Government of Nepal (GoN) has allocated funds to DDC for Trail Bridge Program and Solar Home System and the DDC intends to
apply the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for supply of fabricated steel parts for Short Span Trail Bridges (SSTB) and
Procurement and Installation of 20 Watt Peak Solar Home System. Bid is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.
The Office of District Development Committee, Palpa invites sealed bids from registered fabricators for supply of fabricated steel parts for
following Short Span Trail Bridges and registered firm/s for rendering installation of 20 Watt Peak Solar Home System . Detailed Evaluation
and Qualification Criteria are provided in Section III of the Bid Documents.
Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the Office of District Development Committee Palpa,
Tel. 07520983, 075521407.
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Office of District Development Committee, Palpa by eligible Bidders on
the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate, and upon payment of a non-refundable
fee of NRs. 300 till 2072-02-19 (02-06-2015) within office hour.

Bidder who chooses to submit their bid electronically may purchase the hard copy of the bidding documents as mentioned above or may
down load the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO’s Web Site www.bolpatra.gov.np. Bidders, submitting their bid
electronically, should deposit the cost (as specified above) of bidding document in the Project’s Rajaswa (Revenue) account as
specified below and the scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of

Sealed or electronic bids must be submitted to the office of DDC Palpa by hand/courier or through PPMO’s website www.bolpatra.gov.np on
or before 12:00 hours on 2072-02-20(03-06-2015). Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 13:00 hours, 2072-02-20 (03-06-2015) at the
office of DDC Palpa. Bids must be valid for a period of 30 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by minimum bid security amount
listed below, or scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format in case of e-bid, amount given below which shall be valid for 90 days beyond
the validity period of the bid.
If bidder wishes to submit the Bid Security in the form of cash, bidder has to deposit cash in Deposit Account No. 3030303003001 of DDC
‘Dharauti’ Palpa in Rastriya Banijya Bank, Tansen, Palpa and submit bank deposit voucher along with the bid.
If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date.
In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning any reason, whatsoever.

Note for Procurement of Fabricated Steel Parts for Short Span Trail Bridges (SSTB): The Bidders/Fabricators with experience of successfully
completing fabrication and supply of steel parts for minimum five trail bridges within last five years and enlisted by DoLIDAR are eligible for
bidding. New fabricators may apply in joint venture with an eligible firm having the required experience. Fabricators who are not enlisted by
DoLIDAR may also apply. However, bids of such fabricators shall be considered responsive only in case fabricators fulfill the requirements.
