Utility Pole Replacement - Central Lincoln Peoples Utility District

CENTRAL LINCOLN PEOPLE’S UTILITY DISTRICT
INVITATION TO BID
BID NUMBER 04-04-15
Sealed formal bids will be received by the Material & Standards Agent of Central
Lincoln People’s Utility District, until 2:00 P.M. on the 4th day of June, 2015 and not
thereafter, for the following:
Contractor to furnish labor and equipment to remove and replace approximately
6, 69kV wood transmission pole structures. Structures are single, double and three pole
designs. Workers must be qualified to work within the NESC supply space. All material
will be provided by Central Lincoln.
To obtain a copy of the Bid form, and project specifications, contractors or their
representatives MUST attend a mandatory project pre-bid meeting, which will be
conducted, Wednesday, May 20th, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. interested parties may meet
with project manager Tyrell Hillebrand at the time and date listed above. Please note,
all interested parties planning to attend the walk-through, must e-mail or send a fax
stating their company’s intent to attend. Contractors must respond no later than 10:00
a.m. Tuesday, May 19th, 2015 with the intent to attend confirmation. If a contractor
fails to notify the District of their intention to participate in the walk-through, a bid
package will not be prepared for them. Bid packages will not be mailed, prior to, or
after the project pre-bid meeting. The pre-bid meeting will be the only time a contractor
is able to obtain the complete bid package and meet with the manager at the job site
prior to award.
Contractors that would like to be on the bidders list must be pre
approved prior to the mandatory project pre-bid meeting. To get on the

Note: No bid documents, or specifications, will be submitted to any plan
centers.
In order for a bid to be accepted and considered for award of a contract, the
submitted bids must comply with Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) regulating contract
work for people’s utility districts.
Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder,
as defined in ORS 279A.120.
The District may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public
bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids
upon a finding of the District if it is in the public interest to do so.
