Decom North Sea – Board of Directors Subsea & Wells – Stuart Wordsworth Talisman Sinopec Energy UK Limited Stuart has been on the board of Decom North Sea since October 2011, playing an active part throughout this time. Stuart set up CMC in 2014 to enable himself and colleagues to provide well abandonment consultancy services to E&P companies world-wide, having previously held the position of well abandonment and integrity director for SPD, part of the Petrofac Group. The majority of Stuarts time is currently taken up advising Talisman-Sinopec Energy UK on their North Sea abandonment work scopes. Prior to this Stuart ran a well-engineering business, specialising in abandonment, for 5 years working for clients in the North Sea as well as West Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific. Stuart holds a BSc degree in Geology from Royal Holloway College, London.
