Created utilizing advanced technology and expertise, The 420 Pen® is a vaporizer like no other. The 420 Pen® heats and vaporizes your herbs to achieve ultimate results. It is easy and discreet to use, The 420 Pen® works in all conditions including a windy day on your boat, a rainy afternoon at the park, on top of a mountain, or just sitting on your couch! After an initial six hour charge, your device is ready to use. Simply fill your device’s ceramic heating chamber with your herbs, press down on the power button, and a short inhale is all you need to start enjoying The 420 Pen® vaporizer. Charging... Charge The 420 Pen® battery for six hours, your USB charger light will be red while charging and will turn green once the battery is full. Caution: Use a properly grounded wall receptacle and avoid contact with liquids. Loading The 420 Pen vaporizer… ® 1. 2. 3. 4. Remove the chamber connector from the ceramic heating chamber. Grind your herb. Remove all seeds, stems or larger items. Fill the ceramic heating chamber with your herbs. Do not over pack. Screw the chamber connector back into the ceramic heating chamber. Activating... • • • Place herbs inside Heating Chamber. Press power button for approximately 7 seconds. (activate heating element) Inhale slowly while continuing to press the power button-Enjoy! Cleaning & Maintaining... To clean the Ceramic Heating Chamber: 1. Wait approximately one minute before removing upper mouthpiece chamber. 2. Use the brush tool to gently clean the walls of the heating chamber. 3. Do NOT push all the way down and touch the heating element. When using The 420 Pen® vaporizer for an extended amount of time, the filter may become clogged and dirty resulting in a difficult draw or a lower amount of vapor being released through the mouthpiece. To clean the Ceramic Filter… 1. Use a paper clip or a pin and insert within the holes. 2. Push all the way through to ensure clear airway. Wipe clean with a cloth. To clean the Rubber Mouthpiece… 1. Use a cotton swab and wipe the inner part of the rubber mouthpiece. 2. Wipe the mouthpiece with a damp paper towel. Removing Spring & Filter... 1. 2. 3. 4. Remove the mouthpiece from the chamber connector. Unscrew the chamber connector from the ceramic heating chamber. Turn the chamber connector upside down and the mesh filter should fall out easily. To remove the spring from the chamber connector hold the spring at the highest part possible. Twist counterclockwise and quickly pull it through the smaller opening of the chamber connector. 5. The spring is very delicate. If it is stretched from original size, it should be replaced. 6. The 420 Pen® is designed to work without the spring as well. Replacing the Spring & Filter… 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Place the spring, smaller end first, into the chamber connector. Gently pull through the other side until it is secure in its place. Place the mesh filter inside the chamber. Press the filter in firmly and evenly. Screw the chamber connector to the ceramic heating chamber. Insert the ceramic filter to the mouthpiece. Connect the mouthpiece to the chamber connector. Make sure the mouthpiece is pushed all the way into the chamber connector. If the mouthpiece does not go all the way down, then the mesh filter is not laying flat and needs to be readjusted. The LCD Battery... The latest version of The 420 Pen® incorporates a LCD display screen. The screen provides charge capacity information via a battery meter; it also displays the number of puffs taken on the current battery charge. Using this information you can determine the best time to charge The 420 Pen® battery. While The 420 Pen® comes with a minimal charge, it is not enough for proper operation. Please charge the pen for no less than six hours when you receive it. Subsequent charges should be between two and four hours. Tips... • • • • • • For best results do not pack the ceramic heating chamber too tightly with your herbs. This will ensure easy air flow passage for even heating. The drier the herbs, the better the results. Please remember to hold the power button down for at least six seconds before inhaling to activate the heating element. Between uses, wait three seconds before reactivating the device. In the event that vapor is not being released, gently rotate the herbs within the chamber. For best results, break the herbs up by hand or grind them. Be sure to remove all stems and/or seeds before filling the heating chamber. Warning... • • • • • Do NOT fill the heating chamber with any stems, seeds, oils, waxes or liquid. Doing so will cause damage to The 420 Pen® vaporizer and void the warranty. Do NOT touch the heating coil at the bottom of the chamber with anything other than your herb mixture. Doing so will cause damage to The 420 Pen® vaporizer and void the warranty. Do NOT touch the metal spring for at least one minute after use as it will be hot. Do NOT put The 420 Pen® vaporizer in water or any other liquid. Do NOT put any objects into the opening of your device.
