Sealed tenders are invited for the printing and supply of the College Prospectus.
The sealed tender should be dropped in the tender box placed in the office of
Administrative Officer at the address given above by
8th May 2015 up to 3.00 P.M. and the same will be opened on the same day i.e. at
3.30 P.M. in the chamber of Principal, College of Art, 20-22, Tilak Marg, New Delhi110001 in the presence of those Tenderers who present at the time.
The following specification terms & conditions will be applicable:1.

Items and their specifications:Name of the job and its specifications have been given in Performa-I.
Tenderers are required to give their financial bid under sealed cover clearly
indicating the nature of job.
Terms & Conditions:(a)
Text composing (Typing- Hindi & English) will be done by the Vendor in
the College premises for the final layout before printing)
(b)
Lowest quoted rates in total for combined BFA and MFA prospectus will
be considered for the award of the contract.
(c)
(d)
Rates are invited strictly according to the specifications prescribed
by the department.
The Contractor will be responsible for any damage due to natural
calamities or any other reason whatsoever. The contractor has to
provide/replace the said material within the stipulated period.

Tenders must be sealed and complete in all respects.
Unsealed/incomplete tenders will be treated as cancelled abintito.
The Tender should be submitted in a sealed cover super scribed
“Tender for printing of Prospectus.
Tenders should be accompanied by a D.D. of Rs. 6,000/-(Rupees
Six Thousand Only)as earnest money drawn in favour of D.D.O.
College of Art, New Delhi, Govt. of NCT of Delhi. Tenders not
accompanied by earnest money will be rejected.
The successful Tenderer will have to deposit FDR of Rs. 15,000/duly pledged in the name of DDO, College of Art, New Delhi
before execution of job as security deposit.
Taxes applicable should be clearly mentioned. No extra payment
shall be made for handing charges, cartage, transportation,
conveyance etc.
The material used by the Firm should be of standard quality as per
specifications decided/agreed by the Department.(Specification is
enclosed and is a part of tender)
No request for enhancement of rate will be entertained during the
currency of the contract.
Tender forms are not transferable.
If there is any deviation from the terms and conditions, the
Contract will be immediately terminated and security deposits will
be forfeited.
Principal, College of Art, New Delhi, Govt. of Delhi reserves the
right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any
reason.
Rates should not be quoted in percentage.
Clarification may be sought during any working day at any time
till 4th May 2015 at 1.00 P.M. and no request shall be entertained
afterwards.

Terms & Conditions should be signed as accepted and should be
enclosed with Tender Form.
All services relating to education are exempted from the service tax.
Timely completions of work, quality of services are the essence of the
contract. The Contractor not equipped with basic infrastructure facilities and
manpower need not apply.
The Principal, College of Art, New Delhi may impose penalty to the extent
of Security Deposit of the tenderer for any delay, defective work etc. Further,
in the event of delay in work or failure to execute the work satisfactorily, the
cost of getting the Prospectus printed from an outside source including the
cartage/transport charges would be liable to be paid by the L-1 Tenderer.
In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Principal, College of Art, New
Delhi
shall
be
final
and
binding
upon
the
Tnderer/Firm/Contractor/Supplier.
In case of any dispute, the jurisdiction will be the Court of Law in the Union
Territory of Delhi.
The security money will be refunded after the successful completion of work.
Attested copy of Audited Balance Sheet consisting of profit and loss account
and trading account for preceding three financial years i.e,2011-12, 2012-13
and 2013-14 showing minimum annual turn over of Rs. 50 Lac (Fifty Lac) and
above in each financial year duly authenticated by a registered Chartered
Accountant.
Affidavit on Rs. 10/- Stamp paper to the effect that the Firm is not black
listed.
Three years experience in the similar field.
Tenders not accompanied with EMD, Experience Certificates, VAT,
REGISTRATION, PAN No. etc., shall not be considered.
Tender will not be accepted by Post. The Department shall not be responsible
for any wrong address or wrong delivery.
The Job Order shall have to be completed within 03 weeks from the date of
issue of supply order.
