DRESS REHEARSAL:
Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Hudson High School - Dressing rooms open at 9 a.m.
We will have one dress rehearsal for all DelMonico students.
Everyone is required to attend the dress rehearsal.
Dressing rooms will open at 9 a.m. We will be starting with Preschool, Kindergarten,
Adapted Dance and Mini Company dancers. All other dancers should arrive at 10 a.m. and
be ready to begin at 11 a.m.
At 11 a.m. all dancers will line up for “Uptown Funk” finale routine and final bow. Then, all
Preschool, Kindergarten, Adapted Dancers and Mini Company dancers are free to leave.
PLEASE NOTE:
All dancers will need to stay in their assigned dressing rooms.
All dancers must wear their costumes, tights and dance shoes for the rehearsal.
We encourage you to do your hair and make-up for dress rehearsal the way you plan to do
so for the recital. *Competition dancers see note about hair/make up in this packet.
All dancers are free to leave the dress rehearsal after the have completed all their dance
routines and have been checked out.
We will be checking dancers in AND out for both the dress rehearsal and the recital.
See “RECITAL SHOWTIME” page to find out when your dancer(s) is performing.
RECITAL T-SHIRTS:
All competition dancers are required to purchase a recital t-shirt this year as they will be
wearing it for the “Uptown Funk” finale routine at the recitals.
Recreational dancers and parents will have the option to purchase recital t-shirts.
The recital t-shirts will include all dancers’ names participating in our 2015 Recital.
Recital t-shirt designs, prices and order forms will be available soon.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION about last dance classes:
All Recreational dancers will continue to have regularly scheduled classes through the 1st
week of June. We will have some fun class parties on the last day of class.
ALL competition dancers will also have class the 1st week of June.
Only competition dancers attending nationals at Wisconsin Dells will have classes the 2nd
week of June. A schedule will be available in May.

Recital Information
Tickets:
This year ticket sales will take place at DelMonico Dance from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday,
May 2. They will be first come, first served. Each student is guaranteed at least two tickets
to the show he/she is performing in at the recital.
There is not a limit on the number of tickets you can purchase; however, we will be making
sure the seating keeps a minimum of two open seats together so we don’t end up with a
bunch of random single seats throughout the auditorium. We will also be tracking how
many tickets each family has received for each show.
Tickets will cost $15/person. Children under age 5 can sit on the lap of an adult. Hudson
High School is a great venue, and both floor and balcony seats are good options. We will not
be able to refund anyone for tickets once purchased so please be mindful before
purchasing. Any remaining tickets will be available throughout the weekend of the recital.
Videography:
All three shows will be filmed professionally and DVDS will be for sale. No video cameras or
photos will be allowed in the theater; however, you are welcome to videotape the dress
rehearsal. You are also welcome to take photos at the dress rehearsal but please do not use
the flash as a precaution to the dancers onstage. Pricing information and order forms for
videos will be made available in May.
Recital Programs:
Recital programs will cost $2 if pre-ordered with your recital tickets. Any remaining
programs will be available for $3 at the recitals while supplies last.
There is a form attached to this packet for the opportunity to include a photo or send a
special message to your dancer(s) in the recital program. In addition, business advertising
opportunities are also available in the program.
Trophies:
This is our third year in business at DelMonico Dance and we want to recognize our
dedicated dancers by awarding those who have danced at DelMonico for three years. Those
dancers will be receiving a trophy at the End of the Year Class Party.
We will be hanging up a list of everyone we believe should be receiving a trophy this year.
Please double check your child’s name as we do not want to leave anyone out by mistake.

Recital Information Continued…












Recreational Dancers
Please arrive 1 hour prior to show time.
Recreational dancers perform in one recital.
For safety, during both the dress rehearsal and the recitals Preschool and Kindergarten
dancers will need to stay in their assigned dressing rooms.
Preschool and Kindergarten dancers are allowed to sit on their parent’s lap to watch the
show AFTER they have danced. There will be an announcement when these dancers will
need to come back to the dressing room for finale.
Please bring your dancer a water bottle, NO pop/juice please.
Make sure to label all dance shoes, costumes, etc. with your child’s name.
Recreational dancers should wear their hair and make-up as requested for picture day.
Competition Dancers
Dancers do not have to wear makeup during the dress rehearsal but DO need to wear their
full costume and have their hair in a clean, high bun.
Dancers will have to stay in their assigned dressing room for both the dress rehearsal and
recitals.
Dancers will need to arrive 1 hour prior to the show to stretch and quick notes from the
teachers.
*Qualifying solos, duets, and trios for the third recital: you need to make it into the overalls
in three regional competitions we are attending as a studio. In the event that we would
need/like to add more to the show, the teachers will vote on which dance(s) to add.
This year graduating seniors will be performing a routine together in every show rather
than doing individual solos. SENIORS: please email Kim a short bio and photo to add to the
program by Friday, May 1. Send your bio and photo to [email protected].
