Please place in the lobby mailbox if paying with a check. A $5.00 late fee will be added to your account if the tuition is not received by the second lesson of the month. Also, please include dancers name on the check. We will have the dancers try them on to see how they fit and if there is any additional work that needs to be done. Once they receive them, please do not let them play with them. Parents are responsible for minor sewing. Costume fees also includes tights, trophy and finale t-shirt. Studio Pictures We have scheduled group pictures for May 4 & 6. Class schedule and order forms for pictures will be handed out with the May newsletter. Most classes will have their pictures on their class day. All pictures will be held at the studio, they will not have dance classes that week. They will have both tap and jazz/ballet pictures along with individual pictures. There will be different packages to choose from. Photography is through David Banks and the costs are very reasonable. Pictures will be distributed at the rehearsal on Wed. May 27 at Blaine High School provided that all studio costs are current. Checks and cash will be accepted, checks should be made out to David Banks Photography. • • • • • • • If you are going to be gone, please notify the studio at 763 780 6075. Please check the calendar in the lobby for special notices We have a lost and found box. Check the box in the hallway by the lockers if you are missing something. If you have not ordered shoes for the recital NOW is the time to do so. Orders will be placed on April 16. Please label the inside of all shoes. This will be the last time to order shoes prior to pictures and recital. Look for our Spring flower gift card fundraiser. Great Mother's Day gifts! Information in the studio lobby. Thank you Tonya for chairing! Please make sure that dancers/siblings are not running in the lobby. We have many children and we don't want someone accidentally fall down. If they put on their tap shoes prior to class please have them sit on a chair until class starts. Parents, it is very important that all dancers make a trip to the restroom before class. It is very disruptive to the teacher and other dancers to have them leave during class time. If a child cannot go to the bathroom by themselves, we ask that parents stay in the lobby. Rec costumes will be handed out the week of April 20. Mom's please come to see what needs to be done with costumes at the end of class. _______________________________________ Plans are now underway for the year end dance recital. It will be held on Friday, May 29th at 6:30 pm and Saturday, May 30th at 1:30 pm at Blaine High School. Rehearsal will be on Wednesday, May 27th at Blaine High School starting at 5:15 pm. We will be assigning times for each group. Younger groups early, with finale practice and then the older groups. Once again, we are working with a company called TutuTix to make it easier for you to get recital tickets. Tickets will go on sale online April 15. At that time you can purchase tickets by any of the following ways: Go to our special TutuTix page, with a link from our website OR go to our Facebook Fan Page and click the "Buy Tickets" tab OR Call 855-222-2TIX. You need a credit or debit card to buy tickets. Tickets will be sold first come, first served, with your choice of seats! Tickets purchased on line will be $11 for reserved seats and $9 for balcony. TutuTix charges a low, fair fee for their service, $1.00 per ticket fee plus 5% processing charge added to your order at checkout. To receive your tickets there are a couple different options, emailed to you, sent to your mobile phone browser or for a small fee, they can mail a keepsake ticket directly to you. If there are any tickets available after May 21, tickets will be sold at the rehersal and at each show with a fee of $12.00 for reserved and $10 for balcony. Competition Groups Good luck to our competition groups. This spring they will be performing at 4 competitions. Great Job at Star System, we won many platinum awards as well as category awards, high points and overall Champions! Our next competition will be at the Chanhassen PAC. There is no admittance fee for spectators. We wish all the competition groups the best of luck! _______________________________________ Summer Classes We will be offering mini sessions of dance classes. More information will be in the lobby soon as well as on our website. For those dancers wishing to be on our competition teams, we highly recommend attending a class. Tryouts for the 2015/16 competition dance teams will be held in August. _____________________________________ Support Cystic Fibrosis Walk Lindsey Olson, our dance instructor has Cystic Fibrosis. She is asking for your support to finding a cure for CF. The Great Strides Walk which will be held at Lake Calhoun, is Saturday, May 2nd in the morning. You can make a donation or join her team for the walk. For information visit: www.cff.org/greatstrides. There will also be a box in our lobby.
