Local Development Scheme 2015 Update
A decision is sought to agree an
updated version of the Local
Development Scheme (LDS) which
sets out which planning documents
the Borough Council is intending to
prepare and provides a timetable
for their preparation. It also
provides details of the evidence
that the Borough Council intends to
collect to support the plan-making
process and contains a risk
assessment, analysing the main
risks to the process and mitigation
measures to deal with the risks.
The LDS is intended to inform local
people about the plans that the
Borough Council will produce and
also let stakeholders (such as
infrastructure providers) know
when they may need to make
comments on planning documents.
The Council’s most recent LDS
was published in October 2013.
