DERMOVITAMINA BREAST FISSURES is an opalescent cream gel that creates a
protective film over the skin of the nipple, preventing the formation of breast fissures,
soothing the pain, itching and burning, and counteracting redness, irritation and cracking
after breastfeeding
Breast fissures can be a troublesome complication of breastfeeding. Often the discomfort
is such that the nursing mother is forced to
discontinue breastfeeding, which is instead
indicated by the paediatrician as the gold standard for feeding the newborn. The application
of DERMOVITAMINA BREAST FISSURES
several times a day helps maintain the physiological elasticity of the skin, preventing the formation of fissures and cracks, attenuating the
discomfort and painful symptoms, such as burning and itching, and facilitating the healing of
the fissures thanks also to the presence of colustrum. DERMOVITAMINA BREAST FISSURES
can be used for prevention purposes as of the
8th month of pregnancy, during the entire period of breastfeeding, and also after the onset
of fissures to help them heal.
HOW TO USE
Apply the product to the area to be treated with
a gentle circular massage.
FOR PREVENTION
It is recommended to apply DERMOVITAMINA
BREAST FISSURES two-three times a day as
of the 8th month of pregnancy for prevention
purposes and to improve the elasticity of the
skin. It is also recommended to apply during
the period of breastfeeding.
DURING BREAST FEEDING
After breastfeeding, cleanse the nipple and
surrounding area. Apply DERMOVITAMINA
BREAST FISSURES three-four times a day,
after each breastfeed, or as often as needed.
DURATION OF THE TREATMENT
Apply the product for the necessary time until
the symptoms disappear. If the symptoms persist, you should contact your doctor.
WARNINGS
• Do not use after the expiry day printed on
the packet.
• Do not use if the packet is open or damaged.
• Avoid touching the area concerned after application to avoid removing the product.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Store in a cool dry place away from heat
sources.
CONTRAINDICATIONS AND SIDE EFFECTS
There are no known contraindications or side
effects from using this product. However, it is
recommended not to use the product in case of
known sensitivity to any of its components. In
the event of skin redness or irritation, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor.
