The uPAC-VW2 interface is a multi input media device compatible with select Volkswagen radios.
When connected to the included PGHVW2A adapter and used in the 2008 Touareg (Non-Nav) the
2 inputs will support any of the following combinations: iPod/Auxiliary, iPod/HD Radio (HD Radio
tuner sold separately) or Auxiliary/HD Radio (HD Radio tuner sold separately). The optional HD Radio
tuner is part number uPAC-HDRT. The iPod input can be used with full control from the radio or full
control from the iPod. The uPAC-VW2 also fully retains factory installed Satellite Radio.
When connected to the included PGHVW2B adapter and used in all Volkswagen vehicles
(excluding Beetle), this interface offers basic control of your iPod while adding an additional auxiliary
input. Basic control consists of track foward and track back. Please visit www.pac-audio.com

Plug the original dock & lock harness into the receptacle connector provided with the
uPAC-VW2. Make sure all other connectors (if any) are reconnected to the factory radio.
