ABSTRACT
Participation of husbands in successing exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia still
low (<50%). This study aims to determine the relationship of the husband support
and the establishment of exclusively breastfeeding by mothers in RW 09 Kapuk
Village, West Jakarta on 2015. Study methods using descriptive analytic with
cross sectional approach, the sample are 40 mothers who give a exclusively
breastfeeding. The results of chi-square analysis is there a significant relationship
between husband support and the establishment exclusively breastfeeding by
mothers with p-value of 0.002 (<0.05). Suggested to health workers provide
counseling about exclusive breastfeeding to the family, especially to husband.
