Between February snow storms residents and staff enjoy
a lunch at Outback Steakhouse followed by shopping.
Relay For Life
The staff at Dinwiddie Health and Rehab will be participating in Relay for Life on June 6, 2015
from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Dinwiddie High School. Currently team members are selling
luminary bags for $10 for white bags, and $25 for gold bags. You can purchase a bag in
memory or in honor of someone who has had or who is battling cancer. Luminary bags will
be lit during a special ceremony at dark on the night of the event. We are also selling paper
cupcakes for $1.00 that will be posted in the building with your name to thank you for
supporting the American Cancer Society. A donation can is placed in the main lobby for
donations as well. We will have other fund raising events between now and June 6th and will
be announced at later dates. Relay for Life is a very fun event and the public is invited.
There will be games, entertainment, food vendors, and something for everyone. Thank you
for your support of the Dinwiddie Health and Rehab team and more importantly, The
American Cancer Society.
