Alleluia. Christ is risen - St. Matthew`s Episcopal Church

Maundy Thursday, April 2
Especially important for Saint Matthew’s are the final
days of Holy Week. On Maundy Thursday, we re-enact
the Lord's Last Supper, which He shared with His
apostles on the night He was betrayed and arrested. The
time of the Service is 6:00 p.m. starting with a Parish
Meal.
The Watch
8:30 p.m.Thursday-7:30 a.m. Friday at the Altar of Repose.
Please sign up at the Church for an hour of quiet meditation
during the night. To keep the watch through the night, we
need all hours filled.
Good Friday, April 3
On Good Friday, the day of the crucifixion and
death of our Lord, we will have Stations of the
Cross. There is no consecration of the Eucharist on
this day, and the Communion we receive will be
from the night before, which has been reserved in a
special location. Two Services will be held, Noon
and 7:00 pm.
Easter Day, April 5
All are invited to join us Easter Day morning between
8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. in Parish Hall for pastries, coffee,
tea, juice and special treats for the children.
We hope you will then join us for Easter Day Service
at 9:30 a.m.
