The MotoGP at Mugello is one of the blue ribbon events on the MotoGP
calendar and a must-see for any aficionado. The twisty, hilly Tuscan circuit is
attended by the most enthusiastic MotoGP fans on the planet – the Italians! At
the end of the race the track is opened and fans converge in front of the
podium – not leaving until their hero Valentino Rossi appears to give his
benediction!

Deneral admission viewing at Mugello is very good, although crowded in
some sections. A Grandstand seat is strongly recommended – the Poggio
Secco is our favourite with long panoramic views of a few courners, but if you
want to catch the awesome straight, start grid and the mad podium rush, opt
for the covered Centrale. The new Biondetti stand that has the best overall
experience with views in many directions! All have TV screens.
We offer the VIP Village on the pit roof featuring full catering in a terrace
overlooking the main straight and pits; CCTV, hostesses, pit-lane walks and
paddock tours. Guests in the past have included British riders Cal Crutchlow,
Danny Webb, BBC commentator Steve Parrish, the late Marco Simoncelli,
and the legendary Giacomo Agostini.
If we are talking parties, then Mugello wins the gold medal! Friday we host a
grand gala dinner with teams, riders and paddock personalities! Included with
ALL packages, and only otherwise available to our VIP customers.
We love Florence and base our packages there. Our hotels all offer secure

suburb, just 10 minutes by taxi from the heart of Florence in peaceful

The Pole Position Club
We invite you to spend the weekend with us INSIDE the MotoGP paddock. We have our own
private hospitality unit which will be your base for the weekend. Tables, easy chairs, CCTV and a
welcome pack with a programme, some merchandise and other goodies are provided. We serve
beer/wine/coffee and soft drinks all day; as well as lunch at a designated time. We will organise
photo/autograph sessions with our partner Moto2 and Moto3 riders and tours of various garages
with up-close looks at the bikes. We have a guide permanently assigned to the suite who is
available all day (in person or phone) to help you get the most from the experience. Optionally you
can join us all for dinner Saturday night inside the paddock when the riders are a bit more chilled.

Mugello MotoGP Tickets
Always the race with the biggest 'buzz' of the tournament, probably because the Italians are such
moto fanatics! This event is likely to sell out this year, book early! All grandstands have TV view,
also visible from parts of the standing areas. However, be warned: this event gets crowded like no
other, we strongly recommend grandstands if you don't want to fight for your spots! Centrale is
excellent to view the start/finish and the podium (always a mad rush after Rossi wins!) and it is
covered (Silver is the top half of the grandstand and Bronze is the bottom). The best stand of all in
our view is the new Biondetti - covered, reserved and great views to the northern turns. Also one of
these or the Centrale tickets are essential if you want to access the prato or merchandise areas
from the paddock or VIP. The new "58" standing area has a good view and convenient as they sell
single-day tickets for it (available for Friday or Saturday only). Materassi has a decent view, but for
your money the Poggio Secco is the top grandstand with wide panoramic views and usually the
Valentino Rossi fan club to help cheer!

ClubGP MotoGP Insider's Night (Thu)
Join us Thursday evening (Wednesday in Assen) for drinks and a wander in the MotoGP Paddock!
Our very exclusive "Insiders Night" starts at 18:30 with a guided tour of the paddock. We enjoy
beer/wine/soft drinks and snacks in the Pole Position Club hospitality and take a private tour of
several garages. We will meet riders when they pop out and be able to roam the paddock as you
will. We will have dinner in the paddock and depart about 21:30. Transport is included for all
package customers; others may pre-book to join our transport from/to one of our package hotels.
Bring your camera and autograph pen - you'll be talking about this all weekend!

Join us for a VERY EXCLUSIVE dinner on Saturday (Fri in Assen) night at the MotoGP.
Accompanied by our expert guide, you will be a special guest of one of our our partner teams
(usually Aprilia Gresin) for the evening. We start with a guided tour at 17:30 after the action on the
track. You will have complete access to the full MotoGP paddock, a tour of the MotoGP pit, an
opportunity to meet the riders and crew. You will be able to use of the hospitality, including beer,
wine, soft drinks and spirits. We visit other garages and other partner team hospitalities as well! An
excellent buffet dinner is served right INSIDE the MotoGP paddock, where normally only teams
and riders congregate. At many events, there is a bit of a 'paddock party'. Even just the very rare
ability to see MotoGP 'after hours' will be an experience to treasure! We provide transport back to
our package hotels (not transport TO the MotoNight provide as we are already at the circuit).
Needless to say, places at this are VERY limited. Children 10 and under free.

Official MotoGP In-Season Test (Monday)
Most teams and riders will be on hand for this working day at the track. You WILL meet them, as
our private tour takes you to the track as a guest of a MotoGP team. You will have FULL paddock
access, be given a tour of the pit and can watch the proceedings from there; have full access to
team hospitality, including drinks and light snacks. You will also eat lunch in the MotoGP paddock
with the team. We will engage a special guest (usually technical guru Neil Spalding) who will give
us insights on what is happening at the test and the MotoGP world in general. The tour includes
our private expert guide on hand, and transport to and from the circuit and our package hotels (you
must pre-book to take advantage of the transport). We always end up back at one of our favourite
locals for a wind-down pint or two... Bring your autograph pen!

We take you from your hotel to where food, drink, music and a few recognisable faces from the
paddock will gather including a couple of riders! The event is VERY exclusive; open ONLY to
guests of Pole Position Travel and MotoGP insiders. Best of all, the party is INCLUDED in all
packages; others may book, space permitting. Price includes all beer/wine, food (during private
portion of event), entry and entertainment.

Join us in celebration of another great Italian GP weekend with our winding down dinner at a
classic trattoria. This is a very traditional Florentine family restaurant, where the waters don't speak
a word of English - we love it! You are more than welcome to join us after dinner as we continue to
enjoy the local wines, grappa (and they have a surprisingly good selection of malt whisky!). The
restaurant is walking distance to the Superior package hotel; we will organise transport for
customers at other locations. Price includes wine tasting, table wine/beer/soft drinks, meal and
transport there. Post-prandial drinks are on a cash basis! A free grappa to anyone who catches the
MotoGP reference in the trattoria's name!

Mugello circuit is often said to be one of the most beautiful in MotoGP. The flights are a panoramic
5 minutes circulating the circuit - even when bikes are in session! Get your camera ready!
The service includes transport from the main entrance (Red Helmet), taking you to the helipad.
We will assign times closer to the event, but most will be on Saturday during MotoGP sessions.
You may request a specific time and we will try to accommodate. There may be waiting time as the
helicopter shares the space with the TV chopper.

Florence Cultural Tasting Tour
Saturday night we take to the streets of Florence on a cultural, gastronomical, walking sightseeing
tour! We will be visiting a couple of restaurants tasting Chianti wine, local meats and cheeses, and
then exploring the city by night. The expertise of a local guide will open up this beautiful place to
us: the cultural centre - La Galleria degli Uffizi, Palazzo Vecchio, up the Ponte Vecchio; and the
religious centre - the Duomo, the Campanile and the Cupola del Brunelleschi, amoung other sites.
We will depart from our package hotels and meet together in the Piazza della Repubblica (in front
on the City package's Hotel Pendini). After the tour we will get everyone back to our package
hotels or enjoy the rest of the evening in Florence.
