Program will run from 8:30 AM to 1:30 pm.

Based on interest the Advanced Instruction Level will continue to be offered at 12:30 pm. This
class is open to ages 5 to 17 years who would like to advance their playing skills. They will learn
a higher level of skills and match play.
Earn school volunteer hours We are able to take on 4 Dofasco children for each hour time slot so

MONDAY NIGHT: Singles Ladder (For All Levels)
For tennis players who want to play singles. The league will run up to three one-hour sessions of 8
players per session accommodating as many as 24 players. Each one-hour session will contain two
groups of four. Each two-court group will run a three-week player rotation where each player will have
the opportunity to play the other three players respectively. At the end of each three-week session, the
top player from each group will advance up to the next court group. Conversely, the player with the least
wins will drop to the next group. Space is limited so sign up early. For more information about the
Monday Night Singles League contact
John DiLoreto at 905-560-1666
TUESDAY NIGHT: Doubles Ladder (For All Levels)
For tennis players seeking competitive play at all levels, from beginner to advanced, this is the league
for you. The league will be comprised of 16-32 players (multiples of 4). Past years' standings will be
used, with new players added to the bottom of the ladder. Once the ladder is set, they will be initially
ranked. A schedule will be set up such that groups of 4 (based on the ranking) will play as a team for 3
weeks. At the end of every 3 week period, each member will be moved up or down the ranking, based
on the total number of games that individual has won with his/her partners. For more information about
the Tuesday Night League contact
Chuck Whiteman at 905-573-3475.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Beginners & Intermediate Fun Night
This is a mixed doubles league for beginner and intermediate players. This is a good night to meet new
people and enjoy the game of tennis. There are no commitments in terms of start or end times, so show
up anytime from 7 to 10. A round robin doubles mixed format is incorporated which allows for the
greatest variations of matchups and fellow player interactions. This creates a relaxed social
atmosphere. For more information about playing tennis on Wednesday night, contact
Tom Simpson at 905-574-7381.
THURSDAY NIGHT: Mixed Doubles
This league is for intermediate to advanced players who want to have fun while enjoying a little friendly
competition! Game times alternate between 2 time slots: 7-8:30 and 8:30-10 p.m. Each player plays up
to three ½ hour rounds (2 rounds of mixed doubles followed by 1 round of men’s/ladies doubles). We
mix up the players in each round so you have an opportunity to play with a variety of players each week.
For more information about the Thursday Night League, contact Laurie Abell at 905-643-0961.
