Export / Import using iTunes File Sharing
Export to iTunes File Sharing
Access Edit Mode
Tap the pencil button on the bottom toolbar to
access Edit Mode.
Export to iTunes File Sharing
Tap on the Export/Import button, and choose to
Export to iTunes File Sharing.
Select a Button or a Folder
Select to the button(s) you want to export/
import. A checkmark will appear on each button
indicating that each is selected. Note that you
can open folders in Edit Mode by double
tapping on them.
Finish the Export
Tap Export and you will be asked for
confirmation. Tap Export again. Note that this
process may take a while depending on the size
of the export and the speed of your internet
connection. You will receive a confirmation
message once the buttons are exported.

Disable iTunes’ Automatic Syncing
Important Note: If you are connecting your
device to a computer you do not usually sync
your device to, be sure to disable iTunes'
automatic syncing so you do not overwrite your
device's contents! Follow these steps before
you attach your device to any new computer, or
any new user account on a computer that has
multiple accounts.
Automatic Syncing on Windows
Click the button in the top-left corner of iTunes
and select Preferences. Then click the Devices
tab in the window that appears. Click the check
box for Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from
syncing automatically.
Then click OK.
Automatic Syncing on Mac
Make sure iTunes is the active application, and
then select the iTunes menu at the top left
corner of the screen, next to the Apple menu.
Click on Preferences, then click the Devices tab
in the window that appears. Click the check box
for Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from
syncing automatically.
Then click OK.

Save Exported Files
Select your Device
In iTunes, click on the device's icon in the
upper-left corner of the iTunes window.
Go to Apps
Click the Apps tab in the iTunes window.
Save Files
Select the file you want to save in the
Proloquo2Go Documents list and click the Save
to... button to save the backup on your
computer. You may see several files in iTunes.
Backup file names.
Go to File Sharing section
Scroll down until you reach the File Sharing
section, and then select Proloquo2Go.
You can rename the file (be sure to keep the
extension .p2g), copy the file to another
computer or put it on a USB stick..

Transfer Exported Files
Select your Device
Connect the second device to iTunes and click
on the device's icon in the upper-left corner of
the iTunes window.
Go to Apps
Click on the Apps tab in the iTunes window.
Add Files
Click the Add ... button at the bottom of the
Proloquo2Go Documents list and choose a file
with the .p2g extension from your computer that
will then be uploaded to Proloquo2Go.
Go to File Sharing section
Scroll down until you reach the File Sharing
section, and select Proloquo2Go.

Import from iTunes File Sharing
Access Edit Mode
Tap the pencil button on the bottom toolbar to
access Edit Mode.
Select file to import
Then tap on the file you want to import.
Import from iTunes File Sharing
Navigate to the folder to which you would like to
add the file and tap on the Export/Import button
in Edit Mode, and choose to Import from iTunes
File Sharing.
Finish the Import
Tap Import. Note that this process may take a
while depending on the size of the import and
the speed of your internet connection. You will
receive a confirmation message once the
buttons are imported.
