Promoting and Demoting Buttons

VocaPriority™
Access Edit mode
Tap the pencil button on the bottom toolbar to
access Edit Mode.
Go to a Folder
In this example we navigated to the Places
folder. Select the folder for which you want to
prioritize the vocabulary. If you want to enter a
folder in Edit Mode, simply tap the folder twice.
Select buttons in Primary Level
On the top right, notice the icons for the three
priority levels. You are now in the Primary Level,
which should contain the buttons that are most
frequently used by the user. Select the buttons
you want to move from Primary to Secondary or
Storage by tapping them once. You see little
checkmarks appear to confirm your selection.
Move buttons to Storage
In this example we moved the buttons from
Primary to Storage. Tap the Move to Storage
button (arrow pointing to a file cabinet) to move
the selected buttons to Storage.

Then tap the Storage icon on the top right of
your screen to see that the buttons have been
moved from Primary to Storage. Note that
Storage is only visible in Edit Mode and not for
the user in use mode. It should contain the
buttons that the user does not (yet) need.
Promote button to Secondary
Select buttons to promote from Secondary
Level or Storage. You can use the icons on the
top right of your screen to switch between
levels. In this example, we promote buttons
from Storage to Secondary Level. To do so,
select the Move to Secondary button (arrow
pointing to a 2). Now go to Secondary Level to
see your buttons. Secondary should contain the
buttons that the user does not use very
frequently, but needs access to.
Confirm changes
Tap Done in the top right of your screen to
confirm your changes.
