As this is the third Sunday of the month, Pastor Paul has a scheduled Sunday off today.
April 26

Saviour) Group as we together observe GEMS Sunday. We look forward to reflecting on their theme for
this year “Bring the Message,” based on Isaiah 6:8. A number of girls will be participating in the service
and the Praise Team will help lead music. Pastor Paul is preaching.
Coffee: Please join us for coffee and fellowship after the worship service this morning. Greeters are

Church Family
Please remember in your prayers those who are confined to their homes: Bertha D., Janet K., Margaret
K., Diny R., Grace R., Alice S. and Hennie S.
When you have a need, please contact your Pastoral Care Worker, Elder, or Deacon. We are here to
serve you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Together with the D. family we give thanks and praise to God for the safe arrival, last Tuesday a week
ago, of Sabrina Joy D., infant daughter to Calvin and Gerri D.! Sabrina joins her excited siblings Mark,
James and Maya. Born at 6 pounds and 7 ounces, she is doing great as is her mom. We extend our
congratulations to the whole D. and C.families and pray the Lord will bless them as they embrace this
precious little one.
Please continue to remember in prayer members of our congregation with ongoing needs. Pray for
those in long-term care: Diny R. & Hilbert; Grace R. & Hank. Pray for those needing healing from
broken bones: Theresa B., Susan S. and Tinny V. Pray for Mary Q. and her continual journey with blood
transfusions. Pray for Janet K.still looking to arrange different long-term living arrangements. Pray for
Rudy B. as he waits for hip replacement surgery and for his wife Henny still recovering from recent
illness. Pray also for families who recently received little ones into their midst and for mothers still
expecting and families still anticipating the arrival of babies.
We have been asked by our denomination’s Office of Social Justice to pray for the nation of Kenya. Last
Sunday, following a series of power cable explosions, a stampede was triggered at a university campus
in Nairobi. This comes, of course, not long after gunman stormed another university campus recently.
As these events and reactions point to growing tension in this nation, we’re asked to pray for peace
even as many citizens live in fear.
Happy Birthday to…
