Our theme for the 2015 Reunion ‘Two Together as One,’ transcends our sharing in the wealth of the legacy, and THANKFULNESS to our parents, teachers, church families and the community that taught us to
learn, love and respect. One of our activities this year will include a Red, White and Blue Parade, and we
are excited about the possibility of having participation of all available classes and/or neighborhoods to
enter this special display of hometown affection.
As you know, this will be our first year to recognize Lifetime members of the Industrial-Druid High
School Alumni Association and this is the 50th Year Celebration for the National Tuscaloosa Reunion
Club. We are looking forward to your attendance and participation.
On behalf of both organizations, we greatly appreciate your support through renewal of your membership.
All roads lead to T-Town on July 2-5, 2015.

The Tuscaloosa Reunion Club is a unique organization, presently composed of many members in five
or more states. The club was organized in late 1964
by JOSEPH AND NINA STEELE. The celebration of the first event was held April 1965 at the
Crispus Attucks American Legion Post #1268.
Reunions occurred in Chicago each year in April at
the same location. In 1972 and 1973, invitations
were extended to other known Tuscaloosaians residing in other states to attend the celebration. In
1976 Tuscaloosians from Tuscaloosa, Alabama
answered the call to host the first reunion in the
hometown. The club has since returned to T-town
every five years. Mr. & Mrs. Steele still reside in
Chicago and the National Tuscaloosa Reunion Club
will celebrate its 50 years of existence in T-town
July 2-5, 2015. Mr. Leroy Dunson, Jr. is currently
the president of the National Tuscaloosa Reunion
Club.
