Within the framework of the INDIGO Partnership Programme, an EU-India joint
call for proposals on « Chronic non communicable diseases » is now open!

WHAT IS THE INDIGO PARTNERSHIP
PROGRAMME (IPP)?
The aim of the IPP is to support high quality research
and innovation projects involving partners from
Europe and India. The INDIGO call for proposals aims
at creating new collaborations between Europe and
India or strengthening existing ones in thematic areas
that address global challenges, thus favouring the
development of innovative services and products.
WHO CAN
APPLY?
Applications may be submitted by academics, higher
education institutions and / or research establishments.
SMEs are also eligible depending on national
regulations.
Consortia that wish to apply for funding of a research
project within the above mentioned topics, have to
consist of at least three partners: two from different
European countries participating in the call, and one
from India.
the IPP Call can join a consortium but have to secure
their own funding.
WHAT CAN BE FUNDED?
Within the framework of the IPP, research projects with
a maximum duration of 3 years will be funded.
Depending on national regulations, the following items
can be funded:
 Mobility
 Organisation of events
 Research costs
 Personnel costs
WHY APPLY?
 Initiating new and excellent collaborations and
expanding existing partnerships
 Accessing INDIGO network through its common
online platform and joint events
Countries contributing to the Call are: India, Belgium, Estonia, France, Germany, Norway, Protugal
 Achieving a critical mass to address major scientific challenges and therefore ensuring a significant
impact
Partners from other countries than those participating in
 Accessing new knowledge and markets
