The SACCC’s 36th! I suspect it will be another successful one for
us with the help from club members, advertisers, sponsors, and the
community.
This month we are mailing out a complimentary issue of the newsletter to those who have sponsored us in the past, but who don’t
normally receive one. In a separate mailing to sponsors and advertiser, there will be a list of ways their business can help us achieve
our goals for this coming year.
If you have a business or know of a business that may be willing to
advertise and/or sponsor our open show this year, please contact
either myself, or your V.P. Bill Shaffer. Or just call if you have any
questions about sponsorships, advertising and how important they
all are to our club and our Open Show coming up this June of 2014.
Phone numbers
We are hoping you will help make this a banner year for SACCC!

Hey Members! This is your Editor calling…Costs of printing has gone up a
penny a sheet and postage will also be
increasing 3-CENTS!!! So, here’s the
deal - If you are able to print a copy of
this ‘fab’ newsletter from our club
website each month, that would be awesome!
Printing a copy from our website has a few advantages...First of all, it’ll be in color! Secondly,
you can print out only the pages you want or
need to keep and you also get a chance to check
out the website for updates and photos, plus
we’ll save some money and I’ll save some time.
Just drop me a quick note to be removed from my mailing
list. 3-cents is 3-cents and eventually becomes a buck! Sweet!

SNOW COUNT… On the average, the Spokane area
records about 22 inches of snow by this time of the
year. (recordings are done at the Spokane International Airport)
So far this season, we have only recorded 6.5 inches of snow.

SEMA Update Like all niches of the auto industry, off-roading is an activity
enjoyed by countless enthusiasts and families all over the
country. Responsible use of OHVs (off-highway vehicles)
allows off-roaders to enjoy all that America’s landscape has
to offer on two or four wheels. However, with increasing
frequency, enthusiastS are encountering “road closed” signs
on public lands. This is often the result of the U.S. Congress passing legislation establish “wilderness” areas.
Congress continues to consider dozens more wilderness
measures which could encompass additional millions of
acres of land across the country! Scores of popular OHV
trails could be closed. It is more important than ever to get
involved and make your voice heard by government. Joining
the SEMA Action Network (SAN) at www.semasan.com is
an excellent first step.

Did ya hear...Jeff Gordon announced today that he had fired his entire pit crew! Say what?!!
This announcement followed Gordon’s decision to take advantage of a federal subsidized plan to employ Harlem
youngsters. Seriously??? A recent documentary revealed how these Harlem youth were able to remove a set of car
wheels in less than 6 seconds without proper equipment, whereas Gordon’s existing crew’s best time was 9 seconds
and that was with thousand of dollars worth of high tech equipment. Well, kids these days - resourceful…
Gordon’s management team thought it was an excellent idea as it would definitely save money and improve his race
time with shorter pit stops. Perhaps win a race...However, Gordon got more than he bargained for. ???? At the new
crew’s first practice session, the inexperienced team changed all four tires in under 6 seconds all right...OK, go
on...but within 9 seconds they had changed the paint scheme, altered the VIN and sold the car...GASP!...To Dale
Earnhardt, Jr for some beer, pot and explicit photos…Oooh - OUCH!
I’VE GOT BLOND JOKES, TOO…
A blond man spies a letter lying on his doormat. It says on the envelope “DO NOT BEND”.
He spends the next two hours trying to figure out how to pick it up.
Scuba Instructor to blond male scuba student - Why do scuba divers always fall backwards off their boats?
To which blond male scuba student replied, “If they fell forward, they’d still be in the boat”.
