Dear Golfer, 9 hole handicap membership Thank you very much for your enquiry. Billlingbear Park is affiliated to the Berks Bucks and Oxon Golf Union and the English Golf Union. Throughout the year the club runs 9 hole qualifying competitions from February to November, certain trophy events and a pairs and singles knockout competition which are open to 9 hole members of the club. Results are posted on the club notice boards and the website. At the end of the golf year in June, a presentation evening is held at which the 9 hole Champion and trophy winners receive their prizes. Golfers without a handicap may gain a CONGU handicap, recognised at all affiliated clubs, by submitting scorecards for 54 holes of golf in rounds of either 18 or 9 holes. They will then be eligible to take part in Qualifying Competitions. Golfers who have held a handicap from another club in the last 12 months need only have their handicap transferred. Our 9 hole membership at Billingbear Park is £42 per annum and includes the cost of affiliation to the BB&O and EGU (£15). A pro rata amount will be calculated for part year membership.
