About the Programs
Summer Reading ~ Childr en can pick up a r eading log & ear n pr izes for r eading
between June 8th & August 20th.
Community Heroes (CH) ~ J oin us to meet a var iety of community her oes, including a doctor, a veterinarian, and Smokey the Bear. Followed by a simple craft.
(Mondays)
Storytime ~ Stor ies, games, cr afts, and songs; gear ed to pr eschooler s, but all
welcome. (Tuesdays)
Mother Goose Tales ~ Stor ytime for babies and toddler s. May include puppets,
musical instruments and parachute fun. (Tuesdays)
Crafternoon (CRN) ~ Join us for a differ ent cr aft ever y Thur sday for six weeks.
Geared to elementary school kids, but all ages welcome.
Albeni Falls (AF) ~ Albeni Falls Ranger s pr esent a var iety of wilder ness topics.
Teen Summer Reading (TSR) ~ A var iety of teen pr ogr am for ages 12+, including
an obstacle course, jeopardy, and a Teen Lock-In!
Creative Writing Camp ~ A 3-Day writing camp for 5th-12th graders (broken into
age groups). Writers will teach fractured fairy tales, nature-writing, slam poetry, flash
fiction, memoir-writing, and Japanese stab book binding. Registration Required; limited space.
Special Programs ~ This summer ’s special programs include visits from the Mobius Center and Fish and Game; writing, juggling workshops, jewelry, and perfumemaking workshops; and a magic show and Animal Heroes evening.
*****Registration Required for the following programs: Creative Writing Camp,
Mother/ Daughter Perfume Making, and Juggling Camp.
