Notes for Conveners
Please familiarize yourself with the presenters’ abstracts prior to the session.
Abstracts are found on the ICDE website. Develop an agreement with the
presenters for how much time each has for speaking and for discussion. Both
may speak and then discussion follow or each presentation may be followed
by discussion. It is very important that you monitor the time to assure each
presenter time to share and for discussion.
You may either introduce each speaker or they may introduce themselves if that
is preferable. Please be sure to share with the attendees the process you will use
for keeping time and for facilitating discussion.
Thank you for being an important collaborator in the ICDE by agreeing to be
a convener!
Notes for Presenters
Thank you for being a presenter at the ICDE 2015. Please prepare to speak
within the time constraints so that the other presenter or team of presenters has
adequate time to share their prepared comments. You may choose to provide a
handout or refer attendees to the abstract or paper that is posted on the ICDE
website. Feel free to give out business cards or contact information and to invite
ongoing dialog and collaboration.
Notes of Appreciation
Special appreciation is extended to the following UCF staff who provided their
expertise for ICDE 2015.
Sandra Mc Call
D’Ann Rawlinson
