All models have skids in HARDOX® steel. The choise is Optimal Two-stage snow blower The Swedish OPTIMAL snow blowers are designed for professional snow clearing in all conditions. The most popular snow blower in Scandinavia, with more than 10 000 running units under various snow conditions – from light to heavy snow clearing jobs, have become very popular in whole Europe. OPTIMAL snow blowers have enough power to handle the most demanding conditions. Because of the 2-stage principle OPTIMAL snow blowers are superior even in heavy and severe snow clearing jobs. The 2-stage principle ensures efﬁcient operation also in heavy and wet snow. The auger works like a series of knives, cutting through and breaking up ice and snow. The snow is fed into the rotor by the auger and then discharged through the chute. The OPTIMAL snow blowers are available in a wide range of models. The snow blowers can be ﬁtted with extra long discharge chute, extension wings, support wheels with snow-plates etc. to ﬁt the customer’s speciﬁc needs. Chute with double ﬂap is standard on all models. Electric control of ﬂap is available as extra equipment. Features The robust scraper steels in HARDOX® have double holes which makes it possible to use both sides of the steel – doubles the life. • A self-cleaning worm-gear makes sure the chute is locked in the desired working position. Snow-blowers for heavy jobs Heavy Duty models – up to 1000 rpm OPTIMAL HD-models (Heavy Duty) are recommended for tractors with front PTO 1000 rpm. These machines are built for heavy strains and demanding conditions with a sturdy chassis, heavy-duty gearbox and bulted 3-point connection frame. Extra robust HD-gearbox for front- and rear mounting (1000 rpm upper peg / 540 rpm lower peg). The HD-gearbox is ﬁtted with twin pegs, which means the snowblower can be used front mounted 1000 rpm as well as rear mouted 540 rpm. With the optimal placement of the gearbox it is possible for the cardan shaft to work in a horizontal position. This brings maximum power transfer and reduced stress on the cardan shaft. They are built for PTO with 540 rpm. The mounting of the snow-blower is independent of the rotation of the PTO because of the built-in rotation turner in the gearbox. This means the blower can be mounted reversed, towed or front mounted. OPTIMAL Snowblowers 120-150 are suitable for smaller tractors and working conditions in cramped areas, for example snow clearing of narrow garden paths, smaller roads etc. They can be reversed or front mounted with 540 rpm up to 1000 rpm. OPTIMAL snow blowers 2202H-2602HD are equipped with double feeding augers for large masses of snow. The unique auger design breaks up hard packed snow and chunks of ice. Hydraulic snow blowers OPTIMAL hydraulic snow blowers are recommended for front mounting on machines which have hydraulic motor outlets. The robust hydraulic motor is directly mounted in the gearbox and brings long life and high durability. All models are delivered with reversible scraper steel and automatic circuit breaker for the cutting auger.
