Chevy has won the Hudiburg trophy for the top performing F&I Department in the auto group for four months in a row. the highest point total anyone has ever received. Quinn Alsup was second, Dale Durham was third, and fourth was Nick Hollingsworth. The top F&I person was Quinn Alsup in April, then David Oakes in May and John Dewberry in June. Josh Plum, an apprentice technician, graduated from Oklahoma State University‟s T-10 school on Friday, August 24, 2007. Congratulations, Josh, it‟s time to celebrate! For July, John Dewberry was the top producer with a perfect 20 point score. That‟s Mike Terry believes his F&I Dept. is unbeatable? Last April at the National Barrel Horse Association‟s Oklahoma State Finals held in Ardmore, Sara Atwood won the Youth 3-D Championship. Sara was awarded a saddle for her winning time of 35.830 on Me Too Easy, aka Snake. Sara helped to train Me Too Easy. Art Atwood is the proud papa of Sara and a technician for Chevrolet‟s Reconditioning Department. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for NBHA in Oklahoma. The Hudi Highway congratulates Sara on her fine horsemanship. Beef, It’s What’s for Lunch Hudiburg Chevrolet/Pontiac/GMC/Buick Service Department‟s technicians and consultants participated in a lively contest this summer between Robbie Thomas‟ Wide Open and Rick Harris‟ Ramrodders. A steak and beans lunch was served at the dealership on July 27th. The winner: “oh beans” was all Robbie Thomas could mutter. Thank You “Thanks for everything. Thanks especially for the donations that everyone was so kind to give me and my family Thanks a hundred times over!” Jay Longacre Jay Longacre was seriously injured in a jet ski accident on August 5, 2007. Jay is recuperating nicely and is looking forward to returning to work soon as Chevrolet‟s Sales Manager. Sara Atwood, with Me Too Easy, accepting the 3-D saddle she won. Hudi’s Nursery Kara and Quinn Alsup are proud to announce the arrival of a baby boy on July 7, 2007. Gage weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces. Quinn is part of Chevrolet‟s F&I team. Kamilah and Wayne Willis had a son on July 18, 2007. Avery weighed a whopping 9 pounds 1 ounce. This is Kamilah and Wayne‟s fourth child. Wayne is a Toyota salesman. Diana and Danny Hayhurst welcomed baby girl Brooklyn on July 19th. She weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces and 18 3/4 inches long. Danny is a Hudiburg GM technician. Julie and Mike Terry are pleased to announce the arrival of baby girl, Elise. Born on August 8th, Elise weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces and was 21 inches. Mike is head of the F&I Department. Valerie and Todd Potter are proud to announce the birth of their son, Gavin Reece Potter, on August 21, 2007. Gavin weighed 6 pounds 2 ounces. Todd is a Toyota salesman. Issue 7 Page 3 Weddings Nicole and Shawn McMichael were married on Saturday, July 14, 2007. Chris Kennedy was a Groomsman. A wedding reception was held at Willow Creek Golf & Country Club. Shawn and Nicole honeymooned on a cruise to the Bahamas. The Hudi Highway wishes them smooth sailing through life. Shawn and Chris are Hudiburg GM technicians. Girls of Summer Can you imagine spending your free time coaching chatty ten year old girls or putting up with some pushy parents? Mark White, Hudiburg Chevrolet‟s Reconditioning Manager, coached his daughter‟s team this summer, the TNT96BRONZE of Newcastle. Jodi Kyle married Kevin Shutt at Cornerstone Church on Saturday, July 7, 2007. Jodi married the man of her dreams and said the ceremony was a very happy blessing. Kevin is a Personal Fitness trainer at Prime Time Fitness and Jodi is a Parts Delivery Driver for Hudiburg Chevrolet. They will reside in Midwest City. Best wishes to Jodi and Kevin!
