MIDHEAVEN NEON
Our first look of the series is MIDHEAVEN
NEON – a classic feminine, retro-inspired
look with a very modern twist due to the lightreflecting, light-catching textures and a
perfect match of beaming cool colours.
Intelligent primer products (Original Skin
Primer GENESIS and Lip Balm KISS ELIXIR) and
the translucent natural colours from our
Complexion Collection make skin appear dewy
fresh and radiant.
The perfect balance of matt and luminous is
achieved with Impalpable Finishing Powder
DIAPHANOUS.
The classic, ultra precise liquid eyeliner is
applied generously, and the cool, dark blue
shade of Satin Eyeliner NOCTURNAL INK
in ‘Blue Roan’ is echoed by the hot pink of
the Sheer Lipstick SUCCULENCE OF DEW in
‘Jasmine-weighted Air’. The intense colours
are universally flattering and wearable due
to their modern, comfortable textures and
impeccable finishes.
To create a lovely, transparent and absolutely
natural glow – as fresh as the petals of a rose,
as tender as the soft blush of the youth – three
different shades and two different textures of
rouge are applied onto the cheeks, the sides
of the nose and the lower lid.

AWAKEN YOUR COMPLEXION
Step 1: Prime & Prepare Your Skin
Use one pump of Original Skin Primer GENESIS on fingertips or Foundation
Brush 009 and apply over the entire complexion, beginning from the centre
of the face and blending outward.
Apply a pea-sized amount of Lip Balm KISS ELIXIR; dab onto the centre of
the lips and blend using the fingertips. Press the lips together several times to
evenly spread the balm.
Step 2: Luminous Complexion
Apply a dime-sized amount of Tinted Moisturiser SKETCHES ON WATER
onto the top of the hand. Using Foundation Brush 009, warm up and mix
the formula into the brush, then apply the formula to the centre of the face
beginning with the nose, forehead and chin. Next, blend in an outward motion
towards the edges of the face for an even-looking finish.
Apply 2-3 clicks of Luminous Skin Wand in ‘Orionis’ onto Foundation
Brush 009. Tap over any area of the complexion to eliminate the look of
imperfections, concentrating the application around the nose and chin.
Follow by applying a thin layer of Luminous Skin Wand along the under-eye
area, from the inner to the outer corners. Then blend the formula in a side-toside, half moon motion using Crease Brush 011.
Set Tinted Moisturiser and concealer with Impalpable Finishing Powder
DIAPHANOUS. Swirl Powder Brush 001 onto the powder, tap off any excess
and apply over the entire complexion using light sweeping motions over the
forehead, chin, nose and outward onto the cheeks.
Gently contour the skin by applying Original Skin Blush FOR LOVE OF
ROSES ‘Habanera’ onto the hollows of the cheeks using Blusher Brush 002.
Finish by blending a light layer of blush down the sides of the nose with a light
sweep using Large Shader Brush 003.
MODERN TWIST FOR EYES
Step 3: Set The Frame
Beginning with the brows, apply a sheer coat of Long-lasting Matt Eye Shadow
(Refill) WHEN BIRDS ARE SINGING… in ‘Chestnut-napped Apalis’ using
Brow Brush 006, gently combing through to add volume to the brows.
For a hint of sheen on the brows and as a final step to groom them into place,
apply Eye Gloss SMITHEREENS OF STARS ‘Angel’s Play’ using Brows &
Lashes Brush 007 along the brow bone to set.
Step 4: Perfect Eyes In A Blink
To prepare, smooth and even out the skin tone on lids, apply the lighter shade
of Long-lasting Matt Eye Shadow in ‘Papyrus Canary’. One sheer coat over
the centre of the lids is enough; blend over the entire lid from the lash line
blending upward using Concealer Brush 004.
Apply Satin Eyeliner NOCTURNAL INK in ‘Blue Roan’ from the inner corner
top lash edge and glide along the centre of the lid in light strokes. Begin to
thicken the line as you move outward.
To complete the dramatic cat eye look, flick the edge of the eyeliner’s felt tip
upward and outward when reaching the edge of the eye. Then go to the outer
corner of your lower lash line and draw a line connecting to the line that you
just drew. The wing portion should be thicker to emulate a retro, dramatic and
60’s inspired full cat eye.

MODERN TWIST FOR EYES

Apply the soft, white gold cream shadow end of Brightening Liner Duo EYES
WIDE OPEN along the brow bone and also dab onto the inner corners of the
eyes. Follow by applying the pale pink pencil end along the lower water line
of the eyes right above the lash line. This will let your eye colour appear more
intense and your eyes more awake, drawing light to your eye area.
Apply Sheer Lipstick SUCCULENCE OF DEW ‘Jasmine-weighted Air’ to
the centre of the lips blending outward to each side of the top and bottom lip
using Lips Brush 010. Press the lips together with a tissue and then apply a
second layer.
Finish by applying a very light coat of Luminous Skin Wand FINE-SPUN
LIGHT in ‘Orionis’ along the outer edge of the lips to perfect the edge of
colour using Mini Shader Brush 005.
Using Blender Brush 016, smudge Original Skin Blush FOR LOVE OF
ROSES ‘Delicata’ along the lower lash edge from the inner corner to the
outer edge.
Apply a single coat of Big Lash Mascara in ‘Pure Obsidian’ to the top and
bottom lashes using a zigzag motion, wiggling the wand from the base of the
lashes, out towards the tips of the lashes. Apply a sheer, single coat of Big
Lash Mascara in ‘Pure Obsidian’ to the lower lashes.
Finish by applying Big Lash Mascara in ‘Golden Charcoal’ to the tips of the
top lashes only for a multi-dimensional effect.

Step 6: It’s All Roses
Using the fingertips, apply a sheer coat of Blush Wand CHEEKS IN BLOOM

a subdued hint of colour.
