Content Strategy
Enterprising Communications developed a content strategy for
a newly formed business association. This involved examining
the organisation’s goals, target audience, identification of
communication platforms, subject matter, key messages and
calendar of activity. Enterprising Communications implemented
the content strategy which included writing and developing
social media content, website content and member newsletters.
The strategy raised profile of the organisation and resulted in a
community of supporters on social media.

each stakeholder group for the three phases of procurement.
The strategy comprised of key messages, fact sheets, media
questions and answers, media releases and holding statements,

internal communications and senior executive speech notes and
presentation. It resulted in the successful procurement program
with a field of qualified organisations responding to the tender
and effective minimisation of issues.
Corporate profiling and positioning
Enterprising Communications profiled and positioned a consumer
organisation by identifying and developing news stories
and angles that positioned the organisation as the leading,
authoritative, consumer expert in the industry and successfully
pitched these stories to national print, radio and broadcast
media. The strategy included proactive media and issues analysis,
gaining interviews for the organisation’s CEO in national financial
and business media, writing opinion editorials for industry
publications, letters to the editor and providing comment on
issues. It resulted in the organisation establishing its profile in

JOAN DHARAMDAS,
PRINCIPAL
VEENA ARULDASS,
SENIOR CONSULTANT
Joan Dharamdas, B.A., M.A. (Communications Management),
MPRIA is an award-winning communications professional with
15 years’ experience in the communications industry. During her
career, Joan has held senior communications positions in state
and local government where she has implemented high-profile
state, national and international campaigns for NSW Trade and
Investment, communications for urban planning and master
planned residential projects for local councils in western Sydney
and provided communications advice to ministerial offices. Joan
has won several awards including a communications research prize
by the University of Technology, Sydney in 2012 and led the team
in a state government department that won awards for meeting
international best practice in the Australasian Reporting Awards in
2010 and 2011.
Veena is an accomplished writer and communicator who has
several years experience in multinational organisations. Veena has
held positions of technical writer for the Indian subsidiaries of the
Bank of New York Mellon and Deloitte. She was a correspondent
and copy writer for India’s national newspaper, the Times of India
and content writer for an Indian software company. Veena is
tertiary qualified with a Master of Arts in Communications and
Journalism and Masters of Arts in English Literature both from the
University of Pune, India.
JENNIFER BARDETTA ,
CONSULTANT
Jennifer has a decade-long career in the federal government
sector in the portfolios of international affairs and health where
she researched and provided policy advice to management and
clients on complex issues. Jennifer has an excellent knowledge
about the workings of the government sector, sharp and
insightful research skills and strong client relationship skills. She
has tertiary qualifications from the University of Western Sydney.
NIGEL BOWEN,
ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT
Nigel is a qualified and experienced journalist and writer. He worked
for 10 years at Australian Consolidated Press as a magazine editor.
Nigel has also written for a number of publications including The
Bulletin, Sydney Morning Herald, Australian Financial Review, The
Age and Canberra Times. Nigel’s experience extends to content
marketing on a range of topics. He has a particular interest in
Australian entrepreneurialism and has written frequently on
export success stories for Austrade’s Australia Unlimited print and
digital magazine. Nigel is tertiary qualified with a Master of Arts
in Mass Communication (Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts both from
Macquarie University.
