What is the policy on switching between distances ( AQUA/EPIC/IRON)? Subaru EPIC Dartmouth is a unique event in the world. We allow competitors to switch between race distances up to and including during the event itself in response to the realities of the day. We are all professionals, but few of us are professional athletes. The vast majority of us have to go back to work the several days after our race, and we ultimately do this sport for ‘fun’. Forcing a run when potentially injured or physically compromised, and risking lasting injury to do so, makes no sense for those that have to go back to their families and full-time careers on Monday. Subaru EPIC Dartmouth allows you to still be a full finisher at any distance you choose – even to compete for a victory at a shorter distance if that is what the day provides you. Age Group placement on Race Day will determined by your age as of Dec 31st, 2015 What are the age groups? 18-24 25-29 30-34 35-39 40-44 45-49 50-54 55-59 60-64 65-69 70+ When are race packets mailed out? I can’t make it to the check in before the race, what should I do? The onsite race registration must be completed in person, preferably on Friday to make the process easiest for our volunteers. If your flight arrives too late on Friday, we can also accommodate Saturday morning registration.
