TODAY’S ANNOUNCEMENTS
 First United Methodist Church lunch will be Tuesday.
 FFA Officer Election Meeting tonight at 7:00pm in the Ag Classroom. All members are
encouraged to attend and vote for next year’s leadership team.
NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS
 ERHS Graduation for the Class of 2015 will be held on Sunday, May 17th at 3:00pm in Sliva
Auditorium.
 Attention all Chess Club members. A champion will be crowned this Friday. All chess club
members are invited to watch the championship match this Friday during Activity Period in
room 147.
 Get your 2015 Yearbook ordered today!! You can order through the link on the high school
website, by going to www.jostensyearbooks.com, or by giving your money and name to Mrs.
Rusk. Yearbooks are $60 and we do not order extras! Get yours before school ends!!
 Attention Seniors: After graduation, your school email accounts will be deactivated. If you
have any important emails or documents in Google Drive, download them onto a flash drive or
a personal computer. If this is not done before graduation, those files can never be
recovered.
 Attention Seniors. If you have ordered a senior t-shirt, they should be available for pick-up
during graduation practice on Friday, May 15th. If you have not paid yet, please drop your
payments off in the high school office. You can still order a senior t-shirt, but payments need
to be made up front and you will need to pick it up at Charleston Inc. after graduation.
PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS
 St. Paul lunchstand will be Wednesday
 Interact Club will have its last meeting of the year on Friday during 5th block in the Teacher’s
Lounge. If you want to be an officer (President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer)
please see Mr. Urfer. We will elect officers for 2015-2016 this Friday.
 2016 Marching Tigers Color Guard Tryouts will be held on Wednesday, May 13th from 6:30pm
– 8:30pm and Saturday, May 16th from 10:00am – 12:00pm in the Band Room. Please sign up
in the High School Office.
 All girls track members who are not competing in conference need to turn in their uniform to
Mr. Kirby (room 225)
 Music Students: The Creative Container fundraiser begins Monday, May 11th. See Mr.
Weitkamp, Mr. Petrella, or Mrs. Deimel for order forms and catalogs. Order forms, catalogs,
and money are due next Friday, May 25th.
 Wal-Mart will be holding a job fair at OCC on Wednesday, May 20, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. This
is for seniors (you must be 18 years of age) who will be going to OCC, or for students going
straight from high school to the work force. You will be able to apply online for jobs that
night. Bring dates for your work history, numbers for references, etc. with you to the fair.
See the guidance office for details.
 There will be a mandatory football meeting for students interested in playing next season. It
will be held on May 13th at 7:30am on the closed deck. If you can not make it, you must
personally come see Coach Music. This will be an informational meeting regarding next
season.
 Wednesday, May 13th, there will be a mandatory Co-op meeting during 5th block in room 103.
Any student enrolled in Co-op for their senior year (2015-2016) must attend. If you cannot
attend, you must see Mrs. Billington prior to this meeting to receive all the necessary
paperwork.
 Any girls between the ages of 16 and 21 interested in competing in the Miss Richland County
Queen Pageant can pick up an application in the high school office. Completed applications
can be turned in to the high school office. The first meeting for contestants will be Monday,
May 18th at the Holiday in Olney. Scholarship money, gifts and fund raising money will be
available to those who become a contestant.
