Did you know a rain barrel will save most homeowners 1300 gallons of water during peak summer months? A rain barrel is a water collection system that is connected to a downspout to collect runoff from your roof. Rain barrels are generally made from 55 gal drums and plumbing fittings that can be found at your local hardware store and are easy to construct. Participants will learn the benefits of rain barrels and make their own to take home. The cost is $45 and includes all parts and tools. All registrations must be made and paid for in advance of workshop date.
