Dear Applicant,
The Women’s Club of Accomack County is awarding one (1) $1,000.00 scholarship to a
FEMALE adult/returning student from the Eastern Shore of Virginia attending the
Eastern Shore Community College studying the fields of science, technology,
engineering, mathematics, medical sciences (including two (2) or four (4) year
nursing programs) or education.
This application must be postmarked by April 15, 2015, and mailed to Mrs. Judith
Graham, 10396 Highland Ct., Exmore, VA 23350.
The awards ceremony for this scholarship will be held on June 18, 2015, at 12:00 PM at
the Women’s Club clubhouse on Richmond Ave., Onley. It is expected that the winner
and a family member will make every effort to attend. If you have any additional

With this application you are to submit:
1. A current transcript
2. An acceptance letter from ESCC or a letter indicating you are a student in good
standing
3. Two (2) letters of recommendation. One (1) from a teacher, guidance counselor or
administrator from ESCC and (1) attesting to your personal character. These
letters are to be in a SEALED ENVELOPE from the individual offering the
recommendations.
