are becoming more frequent and can be time consuming and costly.
SCHOOL LAW REFRESHER COURSE WITH THE ADDED HIB PREVENTION REQUIREMENTS

This workshop is a refresher course for all administrators who have already completed the required training regarding School Law, Ethics, and Governance who may now need a more timely update. Highlights
from previous training on student and staff rights and responsibilities, as well as ethics, governance, and
current school law will be included in the review. In addition, we will discuss the requirements surrounding the prevention of harassment, intimidation and bullying, HIB.

SPECIAL EDUCATION LAW, REGULATIONS AND DUE PROCESS PROCEDURES

In the Special Education Law module, we will discuss current laws related to special education including
eligibility, evaluation, informed parent consent, categories of disabilities and the discipline of special education students.

NEW JERSEY TENURE LAWS AND REGULATIONS

The New Jersey Tenure Laws and Regulations module will provide an overview of New Jersey's tenure
reform law, and will include discussions such as tenure acquisition, evaluation requirements, corrective
action plans, and seniority/staff reductions.
