April 2015 - Nottingham Event Team

E-Newsletter April 2015
Reducing environmental impact and taking a sustainable approach is high on the agenda of
most businesses, including those in the city of Nottingham.
Nottingham already has a good track record of sustainability, not least earning the title of
England's least car-dependent city according to a report by the Campaign for Better Transport
last year. The University of Nottingham ranked number one in a list of the most sustainable
universities in the world, and gateway to East Midlands Airport, one of the most sustainable
airports in the world was the winner of the Green Footprint Award for its sustainable design in
2012.
Nottingham is a city synonymous with green - not only as the colour of Robin Hood's hosiery,
but as it is fast becoming a destination of choice for sustainable conferencing.
Whether it is a subject of green matters, or simply embracing the eco options available, when
planning your next conference or event speak to the Nottingham Event Team who will leave
other destinations green with envy!
