In the executive search profession, the process of placing
top talent with clients begins at the researcher level. To help
researchers achieve the best possible results, search-consult
brings you the 2015 Research Practitioner Skills Day. Through
highly interactive sessions, researchers will receive practical tips
and learn techniques that will make a real difference to the way
they work.
The Research Practitioner Skills Day differs from other big training
events in that attendees will be split into small groups for each
breakout session. This approach will mean that attendees have
opportunities for role play and to ask lots of questions and will
enable trainers to better address each individual’s needs. Here is
a list of the three breakout sessions you will rotate around and
the joint session:

Carol O'Driscoll
Director / Archer Search
Carol O’Driscoll is the Director of Archer Search, the bespoke learning and development and
consulting company for Executive Search. For over eighteen years Carol has been involved in the
development of research teams and in interviewing and successfully hiring talent both internally
and for clients at Russell Reynolds Associates and a number of other leading search firms. She
has successfully developed various learning and development courses and implemented them
across the world. Carol has over eighteen years international search experience working on
senior level assignments across all sectors but primarily in the Industrial/Natural Resources and Consumer sectors. She also
has significant experience in emerging market searches. A qualified information professional, Carol’s earlier career was in
investment banking and with a leading professional services firm.

Francesca is an independent search consultant who also delivers executive search training for
Search-Consult. Francesca began her search career as a Principal Consultant with Heidrick
& Struggles' global technology practice in Paris. She then went on to work with boutique
technology search firms in Paris and London. Francesca is based in London and delivers retained
executive search services for multiple clients. She focuses on both the technology sector and on
not-for-profit organisations and social enterprises.

The day will end with a question and answer session whereby the
three facilitators will utilise their knowledge and experience to

Lead Trainer / Dillistone Systems
Lois is the author of "Internet Search Techniques: How to Leverage the Web - Identify and Research
Great Candidates" training course and delivers it to an audience of executive recruitment
professionals.
Lois began her career in technology as a Systems Analyst at the Ministry of Education in British
Columbia, Canada, where she championed the early adoption of videoconference technology
and drove its growth as an accepted method of connecting people effectively for education,
justice and healthcare uses across the Province.
She moved to London from the west coast of Canada in 2009, and now teaches people how to get the most out of
FileFinder and the Internet in her role as Regional Sales Manager for Dillistone Systems.

AGENDA
The Research Practitioner Skills Day differs from other big training events in that, for the three breakout sessions, we will work in groups. This will give you the opportunity for
