Job specification: Account Manager/Senior Account Manager (maternity cover – 6 months with an option to extend) Requirements • • • • • • • The candidate will have been/is currently working as account manager/senior account manager and possess a strong pedigree of agency experience, ideally within a full-service environment. They will have the ability to build and develop excellent rapport with clients from a portfolio of accounts - owning and maintaining these relationships. They should also be able to identify and exploit new business opportunities within clients’ businesses and associated areas and cross/upsell wherever possible. We need a tenacious multi-tasker with stellar time and project management skills – the successful candidate will need to hit the ground running. As part of this requirement, they should be capable of flourishing in a processdriven, albeit fun, environment. A confident and articulate communicator, the candidate should demonstrate a passion for and knowledge of marketing as well as a can-do attitude, which will provide a good fit with the rest of the team. Experience of the home building market is desired but not essential. An understanding of the project management systems Synergist and Trello will also be advantageous. Responsibilities • • • • • • • • Ownership of key client relationships Day to day management of portfolio of accounts, reporting to the Account Director Line management of Account Executive Briefing and management of projects through the studio (via production manager) Client and supplier liaison/meetings Updating project management software Financial management – budgeting, estimating, forecasting and invoicing Delivering presentations and collaborating in pitch planning, preparation and delivery Notes • There will be a handover period of approximately 4 weeks with the Senior Account Manager taking maternity leave • There will also be a 4 week handover on their return to work
