Our tipi's might have been designed
with nature in mind, but they were
destined to stand out from the crowd.
At Kiwi Tipi Rentals we want you and

Kiwi Tipi Rentals is run and owned by Hayden
Doel and his team in Christchurch, hosting
tipi events all over the South Island.
Hayden has always been very passionate about camping,
tramping and anything outdoors. Early camping trips with his
family to Hawdon are treasured memories of his childhood.
Lighting big campfires, burning sausages, chasing Keas, playing
hide and seek and collecting more wood to build even bigger
campfires were all amongst the activities enjoyed. Summer or
winter, either season would do! Memories of waking up in the
morning to snow covered ground around the tarpaulin which
they slept under, not to mention being eaten alive in the summer
months by bugs.
While traveling in the UK Hayden was introduced to Tipi’s at
music festivals and a few weddings he was involved in. Knowing
how much New Zealand has to offer he returned with a plan to
introduce tipi events to the New Zealand public and in mid-2013
Kiwi Tipi Rentals was created.

"We chose Kiwi Tipi's for our wedding as we really wanted
it to be a bit different and original. In Christchurch
we struggled to find a venue that suited us so when we
discovered Kiwi Tipi's we knew they would be perfect for
our reception.
We were right! We could not have asked for a more
perfect and atmospheric night... Our guests were wowed
when they walked into the tipi's and so many people told
us it was the most beautiful wedding reception
they'd been to.
For us, the Tipi's were magical and intimate and exactly
what we wanted!
