Rules and Regulations
1. ELIGIBILITY: Limit 2 people per boat. At least one member of the team must be 18 years or older to operate the
boat. Youth entries must be 15 years old or younger as of June 15th 2015 to compete in the McGaugh RV Youth
Division and fish with a Parent or Guardian at least 18 years old. Anglers must be present at events to win any gift
give a way’s or drawings.
2. REGISTRATION AND ENTRY: Every team must submit an entry form by Wednesday 5:00pm of the tournament
week. Entry fees will be accepted at Both Hook Line & Sinker, Mobile Marine Repair, Southtown Sporting Goods
and Everett Chevrolet in Springdale, AR. Teams may pay entry fee in cash or check. $60.00 per boat. $30.00
membership per person. Late fees apply for any entries after 5:00pm Wednesday and will be accepted
tournament morning until 30 minutes till official take off times. Late entry fee is $100.00 per boat.
3. TOURNAMENT TIMES: Departure will be in random sequence. Official starting times and return check-in times
are shown on the schedule. Contestants should check in 30 minutes prior to official morning take off time with
tournament officials. The tournament director will call off boats and check live wells. Boaters are to be in line
according to the team boat numbers during take-off. Boats must be with-in marina buoys by check in time for
afternoon check-in. Teams will use their team numbers for check-in am, check-in pm, boat numbers etc.
4. LATE CHECK-IN PENALTY: DISQUALIFICATION. No excuses! Boats must be inside buoy’s located at Prairie
Creek and Hickory Creek Marina No Wake Zone by your designated check in time.
5. FISHING LOCATION: Anywhere on the tournament lake except within 50 feet of another contestant’s boat
without consent, a public dock, or the weigh-in area. The weigh-in area includes the pocket of water inside the
buoys by the loading ramp. 50’ past the pavilions toward the swimming area is legal.
6. BOATS AND MOTORS: Any boat 14 ft. or longer will be accepted if powered by an engine of 10 hp or more and
equipped with a kill switch and an aerated live well. Boats may not be trailered during tournament hours.
Trailering refers to hauling the boat from ramp to ramp. You may load your boat to the parking lot and retrieve
your fish.
7. TACKLE AND EQUIPMENT: Only artificial lures may be used. Pork-style lures are allowed. All bass must be
caught on a rod and reel. Trolling and live bait are not allowed. Multi-lure bait, Alabama Rig bait systems are not
allowed. One bait/lure may be used with one rod and one reel at a time. Multi bladed spinner baits are allowed,
dummy baits may not be used.
8. SAFETY AND SPORTSMANSHIP: Safe boating and fishing practices must be observed at all times. Life jackets
must be worn when boat is on plane. All Game & Fish laws will be strictly enforced. All contestants are required to
follow high standards of sportsmanship, courtesy and conservation. Intoxication will be cause for immediate
disqualification. No alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs will be allowed in the boats during the tournament hours
extending through the signing of the weigh-in form. Illegal use of drugs, commitment of a crime or other conduct
reflecting unfavorably upon efforts to promote safety, sportsmanship, fair competition and compliance with
tournament rules are grounds for disqualification and/or rejection of any application for participation. It is illegal to
cull a dead fish.
9. Weigh-In: Teams must get weigh bag then get their weigh slip and get in weigh in line. Team will use only Everett
Team Trail weigh-in bags provided at each event to bring fish to the scales. A courtesy board will be provided.
10. SCORING: Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass (Kentucky), Meanmouth Bass and Smallmouth Bass will be counted
for total weight. The total stringer weight per team will determine finishing place. Any Largemouth Bass,
Smallmouth Bass or Meanmouth Bass under 15” and any Spotted Bass (Kentucky) under 12" presented for

weigh-in will cause a one (.50) pound penalty subtracted from the total weight, plus the loss of the short fish. A
tooth-patch will constitute a legal Meanmouth. Bass will be measured on a Golden Rule, mouth closed and tail to
touch the line. Five (5) FISH LIMIT PER TEAM. No more than 5 legal fish in the live well at any time. You must
cull on the 6th keeper. Any # of fish over the five fish limit presented for weigh-in, the weigh master will begin
culling with the largest bass and a (.50) pound penalty per fish over the five fish limit. A penalty of (.50) pound will
also be deducted from the stringer weight for each dead fish. Any frozen or iced fish presented for weigh-in will
result in immediate DISQUALIFICATION. Snagging is illegal, use of any electronic implanted device(s) (bugging)
used to locate fish will result in team DISQUALIFICATION. Contestants must be in sight of their partner during
tournament hours.
11. TIES: Total weight category, largest single bass will determine winner. If single bass ties, total number of fish will
determine winner if still tied a coin flip will determine winner. For big bass, a tie will combine the places and divide
the prize winnings equally.
12. POLYGRAPH TEST: By his/her signature on this entry form and/or participation in this tournament, contestants
agree to submit to and pass a polygraph test if required by the tournament committee. Refusal to submit will result
in immediate disqualification. Contestants disqualified by result of polygraph test will forfeit all monies and prizes
and will be banned from future tournaments. Polygraphs will be random.
13. PROTEST: Protest must be filed in writing with the tournament Board of Directors no later than 15 minutes after
the conclusion of the weigh-in.
14. TOURNAMENT CANCELLATION: Everett Team Trail reserves the right to cancel this tournament upon written
notification to registered contestants and full refund of any tournament fees paid.
15. CLASSIC QUALIFYING: A Team must fish or pay 4 out of 5 tournaments to qualify for the 2-day championship,
No late buy in; deadline is April 1st 2015 for all members. To qualify for Angler of the Year you must fish or pay for
all 5 qualifying events. Total team points will decide AOY winning team after all events.
16. TEAM MEMBER CHANGES: If a team member change is required, it needs to be approved by the Board of
Directors. A team member can change a partner with approval of the board and the partner change is to be
permanent. One partner change during the year. If 2 members lose their respective partners and team up for the
rest of the series the lowest team point’s total of the 2 new team members will be used. A team may use an
alternate 1 time a year and the alternate must be a member of immediate family only. (Son, daughter, sister,
brother, wife, mom or dad.)
17. LATE: If a team is going to be late for tournament take off it is required to notify the tournament director
immediately so arrangements can be made. Tournament Director Joe Papczynski 479-263-8441.
18. Bonus Money: Members who have purchased vehicles from Everett Chevrolet in Springdale, AR. and Everett
Buick, GMC in Bentonville, AR. Since January 1 2011 are eligible for $500.00 Highest Finisher bonus money.
Member can win 1 time only. Members who purchased a Motorcycle, Side by Side, ATV, or Scooter from
Heartland Honda since January 1 2012 are eligible for $250.00 Highest Finisher bonus money members can win
1 time only. All names go back in for championship and Heartland Honda will pay a $500.00 bonus.

Alternates Aaron Stanphil and Jared Gobel.
Interpretation of the following rules shall be the exclusive right of the Tournament
Board of Directors and decisions shall be final in all matters .
