READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING: Having read the rules, I am enclosing this completed application and my
entrance fee payable to The V Foundation. In signing this application, I hereby waive and release all other contestants,
hosts, sponsors and Tournament officials from all claims of injury and/or damage incurred in connection with this
Tournament. The above facts are true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. All applicants under 16 must have
parent’s or guardian’s signature. I also agree to abide by the results of a polygraph test with no recourse of court
action from results. I understand and agree that the Tournament Rules Committee reserves the right to return
this submitted entrance fee if it shall elect, for any reason, to reject this application. DO NOT APPLY if you have

Starting positions will be in the order that the
applications are received. Your starting number
will be mailed back to you with your receipt. You
will need the number to weigh in.
Regular Registration: Queen’s Landing,
Hwy 150 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m, Friday,
March 13, 2015.
Late Registration: Queen’s Landing from
5:00 to 7:00 a.m, Saturday, March 14, 2015.
POLYGRAPH: A polygraph test will be given to 3
places, selected by the Tour Committee at weigh-in.
You must pass polygraph to be paid. If you refuse
polygraph, you will be disqualified.
TOURNAMENT IDENTIFICATION: You will receive
your boat number-registration card. Keep this
with you and turn it back in at check-in time. Fish
will not be weighed without this card.
ELIGIBILITY: All participants must be 16 years of
age or older (unless accompanied by a parent or
guardian). Proof of age is the responsibility of the
participant.

seaworthy by the Tournament Committee and must be
equipped with at least one aerated live well. If boat
problems occur and you change boats, you must
immediately notify Tour Officials and be checked out
again. If you fail to do so, you will be disqualified
SCORING: Tournament scores will be based on
the total weight in pounds of bass caught by both
contestants. Daily limits will be 5 bass per team.
Only largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass may
be weighed in. You must cull your fish as soon as
the sixth fish is caught. If more than the legal limit
is found in possession, tournament officials will cull
down to the limit starting with the contestants largest
bass. All bass weighed in must be 14” in length
and will be measured on a golden rule with mouth
closed. Penalty will be one pound per illegal fish. If
any bass brought to the weigh-in appears to have
been mashed, mauled, or mangled, that bass will
not be accepted for weigh in. An 8 oz. penalty will be
accessed for each dead fish scored
TIES: In case of a tie, position will be determined
by the boat weighing in the largest fish.
LATE PENALTY: Contestants arriving late at the
check in boat will be penalized 1 lb. per minute. Any
boat more than 10 minutes late will be disqualified
PENALTY: Violation of any of these rules will be
cause for disqualification from the tournament.
PROTEST: All protest must be made in writing
within 30 minutes after weigh-in time.
SAFETY: All participants must wear a Coast Guard
approved chest-type life preserver properly fastened
any time their boat is underway by its main type
of propulsion.
FISHING CONDITIONS: Tournament will be held
regardless of weather conditions. However, the
tournament officials may change starting times
as it is deemed necessary for the safety of the
contestants.
SPORTSMANSHIP: All participants are required to
comply with NC Game Fish regulations. Alcoholic
beverages, stimulants, or depressants will not be
allowed in any participant’s boat. All contestants
are expected to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike
manner at all times.
FISHING LOCATIONS: No fishing is permitted
within 50 yards of another contestants anchored
boat. Any anchored boat must have trolling motor
out of the water. No boats are allowed beyond the
barriers in either hot hole. Boats may not anchor
at nor moor to hot hole barriers.
TACKLE: A participant may use only one rod at a time.
No trolling or live bait.
RULES AND INTERPRETATIONS: Members of the
Balls Creek Bassmasters will be solely responsible for
the interpretation and enforcement of the tournament
rules. The decision will be final in all instances.
BOATS & MOTORS: There shall be no restrictions
on size or type of boat used or the size of the motor
