Suite Descriptions & Amenities The Cottage This suite is a perfect stand-alone retreat for a peaceful get away. The spacious living room that awaits you includes a leather couch, longleaf- pine tables and comfortable accents that will feel like your “home away from home.” Lean back in the recliner for some true “recreation”. .” The adjacent kitchen/dining area is well equipped for cooking with a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave and coffee maker. The inviting bedroom is decorated with relaxing blue linens covering the queen-size bed. A cozy chair and lamp tucked in the corner is a perfect spot for reading or relaxing. The room contains a walk-in closet if you wish to tuck away any of your belongings. We always leave a bar or two of our handmade castile soap in the full bath for our guests. The décor of The Cottage is primarily blues and red/linen gingham along with a few roosters and chickens (the reason it is often referred to as “The Coop”). We strive to keep the suite simple, spotlessly clean and conducive to much rest and relaxation. This suite is roomy for two guests or can comfortably accommodate up to four guests with the pullout couch. The Pecan House This inviting country-style home is designed to include two private suites that can be rented individually, or, if you’ve brought extra folks, we can open it up as a whole house. Both The Bluebonnet Suite and The Nest have their own private entrances and bathrooms. The Bluebonnet Suite We hope you feel a Texas-sized welcome when you walk into the living room furnished with leather furniture and Texas trimmings. The Bluebonnet Suite offers a large kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave and coffee maker that is comfortably stocked with dishes, pots, pans and more. The Bluebonnet Suite includes two bedrooms; one has warm burgundy and taupe linens on the queen-size bed, while the other bedroom has twin beds covered in cheerful robin-egg blue comforters. The full size bath is stocked with lots of towels and handmade soap and is located across from both bedrooms. Relax on the covered front porch or at the Pecan Patio on the side deck. This suite can accommodate four guests or can be combined with The Nest for up to seven guests. The Nest Take the path on the left of The Pecan House to the private entrance of our coziest suite, The Nest. Enter through the kitchenette that contains a microwave, coffeemaker and small refrigerator. Step up into the living room furnished for relaxing retreat. The big leather recliner has a reading lamp close by for serious dozing.  The loveseat can pull out into a twin bed, so this suite can easily accommodate up to three guests. We have tucked in a table and chairs for snacking, or you may take advantage of the country air and use the table on the Pecan Patio. In the spacious bedroom you will appreciate the king-size bed covered in a taupe comforter and piles of pillows. This bedroom and adjoining full bath are decorated in a muted floral theme that is relaxing and inviting. The huge walk-in closet allows ample room for all of your things. We often recommend this suite for anniversary or honeymoon trips. The affordable rate makes it a great choice for our single guests, also. The Pecan Tree Inn Grounds Our B & B is quietly nestled among Pecan Trees, Native Mesquites, Oak trees & a lone Pine tree creating a wonderful habitat for numerous birds including cardinals, robins and doves. Sit a spell on the covered porches of our main house, The Cottage and The Pecan House in our relaxing wooden rockers or porch swings. During the warm months enjoy a few splendid moments surrounded by fragranced beauty at the rose-covered arbor. In season, stroll through the vegetable & herb gardens for a little inspiration for your own green thumb. Wander down to our young orchard & small vineyard to sneak a peek at the source of some of our yummy breakfast jams and jellies. You are also welcome to enjoy our picnic area and the use of a charcoal barbecue grill. And we won’t be the ones to tell how much fun you had on our huge, adult sized swing set! The Small Things Our guests in each of these suites have commented on the “new house clean” standards, and we are dedicated to that. With all the suites, our first priority is to make the rooms comfy, yet leave room for your personal belongings. Our kitchenette and kitchens are stocked with coffee and herbal teas. Free high-speed, wireless Internet Service (Wi-Fi) is available. All suites have an iron and ironing board. And please, don’t forget to take home your hand-made soap. We want our B & B to give our guests a relaxing, peaceful time of rest and recreation. Breakfast is Served… Greeting you each morning is a thoughtfully planned gourmet breakfast. We carefully choose wholesome & fresh ingredients in preparing a special meal arranged just for you. Experience ‘old fashioned’ service and a delicious breakfast.
