Our products are hand-made, hand-poured and made to order.
We use 100% soy wax so your candle will burn cleanly and evenly
to the bottom of the jar.
After your soy candle has completely burned down, simply wash
with soap and water and your jar is reusable, recyclable, or
return it to your sales rep for free dumdums*.
advantages of soy wax:
! CLEAN BURNING - soy candles produce 95% less soot than paraffin candles
! LONG BURNING - soy candles burn 30-50% longer than paraffin candles
! RENEWABLE RESOURCE - soybeans are a renewable source, unlike paraffin
(a by-product of fuel refining)

! EASY CLEAN-UP - spills can easily be cleaned up with hot soapy water.
! SUPPORTS LOCAL AGRICULTURE - buying soybean products supports the
agricultural sector – we buy our soy wax from a local farmer.

*dumdums:
In an effort to reduce landfill waste, we offer a trade-in
program for your empty jars, tins, and containers. Return
your clean, empty containers in reusable condition for free
dumdum samples. When we make candles and spa products,
we usually have a little bit left from each batch. We mix
them together until the product is a usable size. These are
our dumdums. You might get a lotion bar that’s half
pearberry and half sun-ripened raspberry, or a striped votive
in several scents and colors – grab-bag fun at no cost, and
it’s good for Mother Earth.
It’s good for our sales reps
too; we buy the containers back from them for the same
price we pay our vendors.

Our candles are rated numerically indicating the aromatic strength of our candles as they
are burning. Some scents are very light while others will fill an average house. The ratings
can be interpreted as follows:
1 – Scent will fill a small closed room, such as a bathroom
3 – Scent will fill an average sized room, such as a bedroom or living room
5 – Scent will fill a large room and extend into neighboring rooms
(The size of a candle affects the throw also, i.e. a tea light will not throw as far as a
large container candle.)

mamas who’ve been dear friends since high school. !Opposed

What’s Coming Up Next?
These products are currently in the development stage and will
be available in our next catalog (which will be available Aug.
28, 2011). This is assuming, of course, that the products meet
our highest standards during the testing phase.
Fireflies - hanging glass and copper candle holders in a light
amber color. Hang them from tree branches or place them in
a circle around you. Filled with our citronella tea lights, you
can created a circle of protection against those nasty bugs that
bite.
If your experiences with citronella have been
disappointing, give these a try. We scent at the highest level,
using only high quality essential oil and then pour several tiny
candles instead of one large candle. Using special proprietary
techniques, we encourage these candles to emit extra citronella
into the air.
By placing them in a circle around you, as
opposed to having the people in a circle around the candle,
they are far more effective.
All Natural Lavender Soap - made with gentle olive oil and
luxurious palm and coconut oils to make bathing into a
indulgent experience.
We add real lavender flowers and high
quality essential oil to indulge your senses.
Bug Off Dog and People Soap - Loaded with citronella,
eucalyptus, peppermint and clove, this is the perfect soap to
wash your dog. These essential oils fight off ticks, mosquitoes,
and other lil itchums with a rich creamy lather.
We make
these soaps to fit in your hand while you apply directly to
your hairy best friend. Gentle enough for human friends too!
This is my camping soap because it does such a great job of

keeping bugs away and because it’s 100% natural and
biodegradable.
You can bathe right in the river or lake
without hurting the flora or fauna.
Baby Me Baby Soap - made with only one ingredient,
saponified olive oil.
When we decided to make baby
products, we took our mission very seriously.
Every
ingredient had to be thoroughly researched with babies we
love in mind. Would I want this on Aiden? Beaner? Peter?
David? Amelia? Griffin? Whelan? Louisa? Max? Rex? Henry?
Julian? Iris? Lily? August? Delia? Sarah? Jo?
If we
wouldn’t feel 100% secure using it on the babies we love,
we wouldn’t sell it. All the research showed that olive oil
is the safest, most gentle oil to use. We decided not to
find the second safest.
Second best is not good enough.
We will not add fragrance (we couldn’t find anything that
smells better than clean babies) or dyes. We take steps to
ensure that the olive oil is fully saponified before using it
and test each batch for ph and use it on the most sensitive
skinned team member to be sure it’s safe. We mold each
bar to fit in Mommy’s hand (although it will fit in Daddy’s
hand too). Wanna know something really cool? It doubles
as a shampoo bar.
It will leave your hair cleaner,
healthier and shinier than your current shampoo.
With
nothing to build up, try it for 2 weeks. You’ll LOVE it!
Orange & Clove Shaving Soap - We love new things, but
some things were better before modern technology. If you
have not shaved with a REAL shave soap, you are in for a
treat.
With palm and coconut oil to create rich, creamy
lather, and bentonite clay for slip, natural citrus essential
oil and clove, your face (or legs, ladies) will thank you.
