Cessna Decosimo and Elizabeth Rogers Decosimo exhibit their sculpture, oils,
and watercolors in the gallery. A small side yard opens up to a gallery where
one corner holds the quarter-size marquette of the Police Memorial, designed
by Mr. Decosimo and installed in downtown Chattanooga.

A Sunday open-air market with no third-party selling. All vendors sell products
created with their own hands. Area farmers also gather at the market to sell
locally grown seasonal produce. Every week features a blend of the region’s
artists and farmers as well as live music, chef demonstrations, children’s art
projects and lunch options.
6 Mole Hill Pottery
Mole Hill was established over 25 years ago by local potter Kathy Owens.
Kathy displays her own pottery, as well as the works of the other local artists, in
her gallery. Clay and other art demonstrations are held periodically throughout
the year.

The museum is located in a century-old Victorian house adjacent to the art district. It houses one of the world’s finest collections of antique glass and ceramics as well as antique furniture, music boxes, coverlets and other rare finds. All
this is from the collection of the late Anna Safley Houston. The museum offers
guided tours of its permanent displays. It also houses a gift shop that is open
to the public and free of admission.

On a corner across from the Museum at Five Points, the Guild is well placed
to receive interested visitors. The Guild consists of space for the Nilly Bipper

Studio offers fanciful and elegant wrought iron gates, stair and balcony railings,
outdoor structures and furniture. Artisan blacksmith Bubba Williams, and
designer Beth Thevenot, create each item. Smaller projects include lighting,
wrought iron hardware, arbors, window boxes and decorative and functional
items in wrought iron.

Established over thirty years ago, this shop continues to deliver one-of-a-kind
works of art to locals and tourists of Monteagle Mountain. The shop offers
unique handmade pieces of pottery made by 8 different local potters.
Hallelujah Pottery also has wood and bronze work made by local artists.
ArtCrafters is an “artists’ center” that customizes in framing and artwork. This
is a place where local artists can display their work to be purchased. Two
painters, a jewelry maker and a woodworker create their art on site. Art

“Crashed in 1995,” the Purple Bus got a new life as a little shop for handmade
jewelry along the side of the road in whitewater country. Inside, one finds a
collection of original ornamental designs, beads, jewelry, handmade clothing,
