well underway to making a selection of handmade

WE NEED YOU!
Have fun, meet new people and support our
school. We need parents and friends of St
Matthew’s to help out on stalls and activities on
Fete Day and in the lead up to our great fete.
Sorting clothes for The Clothing Emporium,
making cakes, sweets and relishes and simply
spreading the word to all your family and friends
are all positive ways you can help. Whether you
can assist with set up the day before or offer an
hour on the day we would be grateful for your
assistance.
Later this term we will place a volunteer roster online so you can put your name down next to a stall
and/or task. In the meantime, if you have any
questions, please contact Shannon Woodward
[email protected]
MONSTER RAFFLE

a parent or friend who has some spare time to

The business will receive advertising in the school

Chocolate chip cookies
125g butter or margarine
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 egg
3/4 cup plain flour
1/2 tsp bi carb soda
1 1/4 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup choc chips
Preheat oven to 180 degrees (160 fan forced).
Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Cream butter, brown sugar and vanilla until pale
and creamy. Add egg and mix until combined.
Add sifted plain flour and bi carb soda then use a
wooden spoon to mix together. Add the rolled
oats and chocolate chips and mix until combined.
Roll tablespoons of mixture into a ball and place
on the baking tray (leave a fair amount of space
between the cookies as they do spread).
Bake for 15 - 18 minutes (the more you cook, the
crunchier the cookies will be).
Place in a wire cooling rack to cool. Enjoy!
