Dear Friends and Community Partners,
Family Promise of Coastal Alabama is off to a good start in 2015 with our Rapid Rehousing for Families Program! Our agency was the only recipient in the state of Alabama to be awarded this new HUD grant which
provides rental and utility assistance for families experiencing a homeless crisis. The program began in March
and we have already been able to move three families from homelessness into housing and soon we will have
two more families in housing. Offering a helping hand up during a time of need makes a tremendous difference
in the lives of children and families. Thank you for continuing to join us in this effort. We are making a positive
impact in our community!

children’s area to the Family Room!

On April 17th, eight volunteers participated in the
annual United Way Day of Caring at our Day Center
The group of volunteers painted, assembled a desk
and bookcase, replaced two sinks, donated a T.V. and
DVD player, and painted and created a terrific space
just for the children.
