Announcement
1. General
The International Figure Skating Competition organized by the Figure Skating Federation of
Russia and the Figure Skating Federation of Mordovia Republic is to be held in Saransk, Mordovia on
April 04-06, 2015. The Competitions will include Single and Pair Skating and Ice Dance for Juniors and
Advanced Novices.
The participants should arrive in Saransk on April 03, 2015 and leave the city on April 07,
2015.
The “Rostelecom Crystal Skate” 2015 will be conducted in accordance with the ISU
Constitution and General Regulations 2014 and all relevant ISU Communications.
Participation is open to all Competitors who belong to an ISU member, and qualify with regards to
eligibility according to Rule 102, provided their age falls within the limits specified in rule 108,
paragraph 3.b) for Juniors and paragraph 3.c) for Advanced Novices.
Furthermore all participants must meet the participation, citizenship and residency requirements of
Rule 109, paragraphs 1 through 5 and ISU communication 1420 or any update of this
communication.
All competitors must be entered by their respective Member Federation.
2. Technical Data
Place: The Palace of Sports of the city of Saransk - capital of Mordovia Republic (800 km
south east from Moscow).
Venue: 2 indoor heated rinks 60m x 30m.

Junior Ladies, Men, Pairs, Ice Dance
According to the ISU Technical Rules 2014 and latest ISU Communications.
Advanced novice Girls, Boys, Pairs, Ice Dance
According to the ISU Communication No. 1886 and other latest ISU Communications.
3. Entries
3.1 Confirmation of Entries
Each ISU member has the right to nominate not more than 1 entry for each discipline and each age
group (Juniors, Novices).
In case a member wants to nominate the second entry in a discipline and an age group, the member
must bear all expenses for this entry.
In case of too many entries the Organizers reserve the right to limit the number of accepted entries.
Copies of the skaters' passports as well their ISU Clearance Certificate (if applicable) and their
planned Elements Form, must be sent by email before March 6, 2015.
3.2 Entries by Number
Entries indicating the number of skaters in each of the categories specified in section 2 above should
reach the Organizer not later than February 27th, 2015.
3.3 Entries by Name
Entry by name should reach the Organizer not later than March 6, 2015.

Entries must be accompanied by the official ISU Declaration Form as per Rule 1, in case of
competitors who are not full of age (under 18), such Declaration must be co-signed by at least one of
the parents or other guardian at law. Each entry form and declaration form must be signed by an
authorized ISU Member Representative such as President, General Secretary, Executive Director,
CEO.
3.4 Entries of Judges
Each participating ISU member is requested to nominate up to two Judges and one substitute
judge with at least the “International judge” status.
Should there be more Judges entered than needed in the competition, the Organizer reserves the
right to reduce the number of Judges to one per ISU Member.
4. World Standing Points
In case the requirements as per ISU Communication 1629 are fulfilled, World Standing points
will be awarded in the Junior Categories Men and Ladies.
5. Expenses
The Organizers themselves will invite all Technical Specialists, Technical Controllers, Data and
Replay operators and Referees for whom all the necessary travel fees and arrangements for
accommodation and full board will be covered.
The Organizing Committee will bear all expenses of meals and lodging for the Judges
beginning from lunch on April 03, 2015 till breakfast on April 07, 2015.

second possible entries mentioned in item 3, they will be provided with breakfast free of charge and
lunch and dinner coupons for the total price of 20 EUR per day.
The Organizers also provide free of charge transfer from and to the airport/train station. All
participants will be greeted by a member of the OC, provided the OC is notified in advance of the
exact arrival time.
6. Charges
Entry fee is 20 € (EURO) for Single skater and 30 € for Pair or Dance couple have to be paid at
the registration before the Competition.
7. Practice
Official practice for competitors starts on March 4th, 2015, the detailed schedule will be
issued at the time of registration.
8. Draws
The draws for the first segment (Short Program/Short/Pattern Dance) will take place on
March 3rd, 2015. The draw for second segment (Free Skating/Free Dance) will take place as soon as
possible after the completion of the first segment.
9. Music/Planned Program
All Competitors shall furnish competition music of excellent quality on CD format, in
accordance with Rule 343, paragraph 1. Together with the entry forms, the “Program Content Sheet”
must be returned to the Organizing Committee. It is mandatory that the Program Content Sheet has
to be completed precisely by each skater/couple in English using the official ISU abbreviation.
10. Liability
According to the ISU General Regulations, Rule 119, Organizer accepts no liability for injures
or personal damage sustained by competitors or Officials. Each ISU Member is expected to provide
its own insurance protection. The Organizer provides medical service to Competitors and Officials.
11. Hotel
All Competitors, Officials and Coaches will be accommodated in a hotel close to the Sport
Palace in Saransk.
